"The apartment community has changed substantially since we moved in June of 2022. I really used to love it here and even talked my husband into resigning our lease. There are a pair of aggressive dogs on the property that have been reported multiple time by multiple residents and have attacked several but nothing has been done. The owners still leave the dogs unattended in the dog park and management states that they are not responsible for anything that occurs. Many neighbors avoid the park all together now. I was recently told to ‘call this number if you see any animal being aggressive’, but how do I do so if you are the one being attacked? I feel this will not change until someone seriously gets injured. Moving back to management, they are impossible to connect with unless you physically go into the office which is quite difficult if you work a standard 8-5. They are very prompt to notify you when they need something, but VERY poor at communication and follow up when there is something that you need. Emails WILL go unanswered. And good luck trying to find a phone number if you did not keep someone’s business card at the main office. It is not posted anywhere, and if you do get it and are able to call, you likely will not get an answer and there is no voicemail. Also, I agree with the other comment about not having a record of charges. You don’t know what you have paid, when, or how much. Only the balance owed. And if there is an issue with payment, they will not notify you until after the late fee date so you are forced to pay additional fees. And you will not be able to see anything on the portal, just a zero balance until they manually update it which seems questionable at best. There is no automatic receipt sent upon payment if you have auto pay set up. I have asked about this several times to no avail, and I still have no response. And I have been with other apartments that use Rent Cafe and this was not an issue. The office staff is unable to do anything to fix issues, nor does it really seem that really care to. Additionally , the new neighbors are loud at all hours of the day/night, there is more trash/food/waste throughout the property, & the valet trash is inconsistent. I am so frustrated and tired of all of the issues and ultimately now feel that staying was a mistake. I would not recommend this property moving forward."

"Wow I am so glad I recorded my walk through they sent me to collections. For alleged carpet damage stole my deposit. People need to be honest. The apartment had normal apartment damage it was filthy upon arrival. Its ok I record everything."
"I cannot say enough positive things about Debbie Lane! The apartment was ready and very clean at move in. The staff is amazing! They have been exceptionally friendly and kind. Happily answering our many questions. Victoria even offered to stay a little late to accommodate us! The grounds are maintained beautifully. I have seen staff walking the grounds every time I have been outside. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues that we filed online one night. They were here the NEXT MORNING to fix them. I have never experienced such efficiency with maintenance elsewhere. I give them the highest recommendation. We definitely made the right decision by moving here!"
"Update: after I asked for a corporate number they failed to give it to mwthree times. Today, a day after I ask them about a status update for our deposit, they sent my account to collections after never being notified. They say contact us, but guess what no one replies.again, we never got a single call or email or letter. Worst property management company. We lived at Debbie lane June 2022-April 2023. 1) we moved in and the place was filthy ; they said that because no one ever lived in the apt before us that they didn’t have to clean it. 2) For the past few months we have been asking Debbie lane flats for our deposit. They gave us the run around and told us that the situation was still being investigated. Then my husband got a hold of someone and they told him they did not have the funds to pay out our security deposit. He was told he would be contacted shortly with an update. I let a couple weeks go by before I called back because I thought that’s a weird thing to say. Today I spoke to someone and they told me that we not only wouldn’t be getting our security deposit but that we owed $800 out of pocket. Doesn’t that sounds suspicious and sketchy?! I asked them where they sent the notice we owed them and they said they mailed it out. It’s been months we never got anything in the mail. I asked them is there a record of them sending the notice out?notes in the system or anything and nothing! How is it that the apt didn’t need any cleaning service but the carpets needed to be replaced ?! Our carpets were fine and I worked property management for years, I know what normal wear and tear is, we lived there for 10 months. I asked for the quote from the company that stated the carpets needed replacement, I asked them for proof. Again, I know the requirements for a carpet replacement and a normal carpet patch. These people; this organization are simply not doing their job. I asked them why we never got so much as a call from them. This place is not worth it, please do yourself a favor and stay far away from Debbie lane flats!"
