Reviews of Dylan Apartments
"Do not move there they fired the manager for no reason. The leasing agent Jordan always calls the supervisor for everything. Watch out they just want your money. The leasing agent Jordan is rude and also had something to do with getting the manager fired. Jordan is a snitch"

"Don't move here. In our 2.5 years here we saw 6 different management companies. Owner always goes with the lowest bidding management company which comes with tons of issues. Apartments also swapped to section 8, so unless you're out of options, go anywhere else. The units are overpriced for what they are (landlord specials with 8 layers of paint on the walls over roaches/holes, painted delaminating and crumbling countertops, and stick-on flooring). Unit wasn't move in ready when we got here for starters, but it was workable. We cleaned up what wasn't and reported all issues/broken items to management. Nothing ever got fixed. Again, we made due. Management companies swap, each one likes to randomly interpret what your lease was or how the previous management company billed you. We went from renting 2 reserved spaces for 25$ each, some management companies would put the singular charges, others would combined them and show 50$ for reserved parking. We didn't care, as long as the numbers lined up. Next management company decides we've only been paying for 1 spot versus two and we had to fight with them about over billing us multiple times before finally getting it corrected and dropping the reserved spots off of our account altogether. Another issue we had was with the unit about us constantly bursting pipes and it would come leaking down into our apartment, we would report it on the emergency maintenance line only for nobody to ever show up or if they did it was days later. Our walls ended up damaged and stayed that way. (They fixed the issue above us, but it happened 2 more times) Each time they would fix the unit above us, but never repair the damage to our unit. It wasn't until we were 2 months or so away from our lease ending that they finally got the walls fixed. Next issue was our AC unit going out during peak summer. (120 degrees outside, 98 degrees in our apartment). They ignored multiple work orders/calls and would constantly lose them. They lost 3 different work orders to get this fixed before I went legal on them and they sent a repair tech the same day. At no time did they ever offer us a window unit until I went legal and pointed that out. Luckily me and my roommate had already gone out and purchased two standing units, but we had money to do so, what about if the resident DIDN'T have the money to do so? That was 450$ out of pocket to us. They never gave us even a rent concession and this had been going on for almost 3 months. They finally (after several maintenance folks came to attempt to fix the unit and tell us it was all broken, they'd send another to verify and another) swapped out both the inside and the outside units to get it all working. (While ripping up our inner wall and then just screwing the ripped out wall back up after they left instead of fixing it and getting it back up to a good appearance). Fast forward and we're now a month moved out. We gave them our notice 6 months before we moved because we were so fed up with things. Gave them a verbal notice in the office, a written notice at the same time (which we took pictures of) and recorded the whole interaction. Fast forward and they gave us a renewal notice, and wanted 200$ more to renew. We told them no and that we already put in our notice 4 months prior. They tried to negotiate, but wouldn't budge on the price so we said our notice to vacate would stand. We gave them our forwarding address at that time. Forward a month and they were asking us if we were renewing or that we had to notify them of our intent to vacate at the end of the lease (you can see where this is going), and we once again told them of each time they were notified, but via text and via e-mail and even once more in person when they reached out for a forwarding address a second time. We've been moved out for a month and they still thought we lived there, charging us late fees and month to month rent and penalties. Still waiting on them to fix this before the 30 days required before we put a lien on the management company/owner."
