Extended Stay America - Fort Worth - City View

"This was not a pleasant stay due to several things. First, the room reeked of cigarette smoke, although smoke-free building signs were posted. There were cigarette butts in the stairwell leading up to the rooms. Secondly, the walls are too thin. We heard yelling, cursing, and other things that drowned out the television. Some of the staff members were unprofessional. They wanted to come in to put in a new headboard, and my husband asked them to come back as we were getting dressed. They got angry and basically said no, they had to do it then. I do believe there was a language barrier, but why put headboards in a room while the guests are there? I do not recommend this establishment unless they make some major changes."

"I went my girlfriend and her family to help their mom get settled into a room, and it was absolute chaos. There was a sign up saying he stepped away and when he came back, all hades broke loose. The place smelled like the city dumpster mixed with smoke and bugs. The floors were sticky, too. We already knew we probably made a mistaken, but we thought we might as well give it a shot, but then the receptionist was cussing at us and others in the lobby. One lady told him “sir I think you outta go home. Today is not your day.” He denied any form of refund, denied disability access, and threatened us in more than one way. Don’t waste your time or money; it’s not worth being mistreated. We never got his name, but here a picture of the reception area."

"They were in the process of renovations, the room I was in was a newly renovated room. It was nice for what it was. The even provided pots and pans and other dishes. There was an issue with the hot water, the temperature kept fluctuating. Other than that it was a pretty good stay."

"At first sight we saw about 30 mattresses sitting outside of an already full construction dumpster which worried us if the place had bed bug outbreak. When walking in there was a guest checking in who seemed not to have any bedding in his room again another red flag. When walking to our room the hallway had mattresses lined up against the walls. We get into our room and are greeted with the noisiest refrigerator. I went and inspected the bed for signs of bed bugs to find not bugs but fitted sheet holding on to the mattress for life!! As we are trying to rest after a long day my husband and I both use the restroom to find the toilet won’t flush and cleaning solution is coming from the tank. husband has to go and get a plunger. Smh.. so we leave for dinner come back, go to sleep and about 1:30am the fire alarm goes off in the entire building. I call down to the front to see if we have to get down stairs clerk states I don’t see fire or smoke and we can’t turn it off till the fire marshal comes to turn it off. It takes about an hour. Again, the clerks were nice but the stay in all was a no go for me.. we will not be back."
