"EDIT: After moving out, the non refundable “deposit” of 25 a month is something they keep and does not go towards paint or anything after you move out. It’s extra money for them to pad their pockets. Also, even though all the apartments I have seen in the complex and the reviews on here, they were never clean upon move in and my brothers reeked of weed and the carpet was not even complete. They will charge for silly things like a bath tub cleaning even though they use grout that isn’t safe for bathroom use so it can cause mold to grow. They cut corners and charge you for every little thing. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! Much better places in the area. We moved in a year ago and had no trouble the first few months except for the fact that it took weeks for Ashley to get back to us after we got approved and we signed the lease a few days before we moved in. It seemed a little weird that we had no contact and could not get it signed since Ashley had to be there and no one else could do it. A red flag that we should have paid attention to. My brother moved in as well but the apartment he rented was not clean when he arrived. It reeked of weed and made all of his furniture smell. The carpet was also still being installed and his blinds were broken. It took WEEKS for this all to be resolved. Unacceptable. Months later his washer broke and flooded the apartment and it has mold everywhere. Then a few months later some gym equipment breaks and it is still not fixed almost 9 months later. The pool was closed half the time. There is a hole in the back fence since day one. The “gated community” is a joke because the fronts gates are constantly broken. I’ve heard/seen several cars get broken into. Mostly work trucks or people who park in the back. The poop bags are always out. The package locker occasionally breaks. They never answer the phone, I called 6 times and they FINALLY picked up. I was calling because they put a lock on my account so I couldn’t make payments and I have to call to make a payment which costs me a “convenience fee,” and it is still not fixed after alerting them to the issue months ago. They told me they see where the issue is that I have to send them an email to confirm that I can’t make payment????? That doesn’t even make sense because they just said they can see on their end that I cannot make a payment. When I got locked out my apartment once, they don’t have an extra set of keys and they’re maintenance guys, while nice, are not very competent. They tried to break down the door and bent it(it has a gap in the frame now) and resorted to breaking the window without telling me I had to pay for that($400). And that broken window stayed like that for almost over a week(with all the crime in the area). I asked my dad and a lock smith could have gotten us in within a few hours and for less than $100. What complex doesn’t have an extra key??? Like I said, incompetent. The fact I have trouble making payments and have to pay a “connivence” fee when I call every month to give them money definitely feels vindictive. You don’t get the amenities you pay for and they don’t care. It would be one thing if it was a few things wrong, but anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. The “renovation” they do the apartments aren’t even that nice. There is paint splattered all over the floor and the cabinets weren’t even cleaned. The slapped the paint on old nails and crumbs/bugs still there. Lazy. Also, they say they have fiber internet and the line is fiber up until it gets to the building. They don’t have it, AT&T told us even though we pay for fiber we could not get the full extent of it. We moved on to renting a house for a very similar price with double the square footage and less headaches and in a nicer area. Please do not rent here. They are lazy and uncaring"

"From the first day my Boyfriend walked into the Leasing Office for info- I have been very impressed. The application process was seamless. Selecting our unit was easy and we chose a newly upgraded unit, same as the model. We have been here for 3 days and we love it! The Maintenence team members are friendly and willing to assist. Ashley in the management office is very kind and diligent! It’s been great working with her. Excited that I get to call this place home for the next 12 months."

"We've been at The Lodge about a year and half now and changed apartments after a year. The office staff has changed in that time however all have been very pleasant, kind and helpful. The maintenance staff are quick and also very pleasant. The Lodge is gated and has very large patios, high ceilings and great layouts with a spacious feeling in the apartment. A nice pool and has a 24 hour gym with the basics to get a workout. There is direct access to the Trinity Trail, very nice pet friendly neighborhood with a neighborhood Walmart and Whole Foods within walking and biking distance. Has a nice size Bark Park and is smaller than many other communities which is nice. Note; there is no laundry facility however there are laundry hook ups inside each apartment. We had given notice but then weren't ready to move however our original apartment (25 steps to the Trinity gate) was rented so we had to move to another apartment near the pool. We left the apartment in very good condition and got back our full deposit plus interest. That almost never happens elsewhere. Easy access to highways and shopping. We haven't experienced any crime or neighbor challenges. We checked out dozens of apartment communities prior to choosing The Lodge and either the patio was too small, the community was too large, the staff not as welcoming, the layout felt cramped, the parking was a nightmare and on and on, I'm picky and all in all we really enjoy living here. Thanks to the office and maintenance staff for making The Lodge a great place to live."
