Chateau on the River Apartments

"We moved in in 2016 and it was the BEST. Great location, great vibe, and great office staff. Since the Paskin Group took over in 2021, it has gone severely downhill. Maintenance takes WEEKS to respond even though it is not a full community. We were without a dishwasher and garbage disposal for over a month. Communication is horrible. Prior to our move out, the office manager was very rude and condescending with every interaction we had with her. We moved out in December 2023. They are charging us a pet fee even though we paid a pet deposit with a previous owner and legally they must honor that. They asked us to prove we paid the deposit and, if we did, they would remove the fee. We were able to provide our lease agreement stating we paid our pet deposit and, additionally, sought legal advice. Our attorney confirmed that they are bound to honor our agreement but they did not remove the pet fee from our move out charges and sent it to a collections agency while we were still discussing charges. If you did not pay your deposit with them, do not expect them to uphold any sort of law-abiding contract. Paskin Group is shady and I would not live anywhere that is managed by them. I did not intend to leave a negative review until they decided not to honor our contract and, essentially, steal our money."

My apartment was extremely clean, had little to no issues throughout this entire process. Kelsie in leasing is so amazing and kind, I had so many questions throughout this process and she always got back to me very fast, we had a great open line of communication. She made me feel very welcomed. I am extremely happy with where I chose to make my home. :))"

"I would give Chateau on the river 5 starts. The management is always friendly and welcoming. The maintenance is professional and prompt. The have a courtsey officer also seems to answer calls promptly. The property is clean and very quite. I would recommend people move here."

"I recently moved into my apartment. First, I have to say, it was a joy working with Rachael and Meghan, they are super nice and professional. Will, the lead maintenance guy was also super nice and efficient. Most of my communication with Rachael was via email because of my work schedule, but her response time was amazing; which made the leasing and move-in process straightforward and quick. So far, the property is clean and QUIET!!! There are a lot of good amenities, but I have not used any yet. After living here for 6 months, I will submit an updated review, but for now I’m happy with my choice…."
