"This OBGYN clinic claims to take high risk pregnancies and even boasts a review on their website of taking on a woman 7 months pregnant. Yet when I called in a crisis situation they told me they wouldn’t take anyone past 24 weeks and just said they’d refer me out anyway due to my child’s disability status. Where I get care should have nothing to do with this. My pregnancy itself is not high risk and I am textbook healthy. I had hoped their religious affiliation would prove to contribute to be a saving grace for me in what I was looking for in an OB, yet I was turned away. I’ve spoken to midwives who will take me on at this stage and despite my child’s disabilities, yet these “doctors” are unwilling. I would go with the old fashioned midwife but would prefer to have a doctor involved given our complex situation. Very sad, and I hope they take that misleading review down from their site to avoid giving hope to another desperate woman looking for someone who will treat them with dignity."
