HOMES Clinic, located at 1212 Prairie Street in Houston, Texas, is a unique institution as the only student-run medical clinic in the city. We provide high-quality healthcare to our patients who are experiencing unstable housing, while also offering meaningful education for our volunteers. As a program of Healthcare for the Homeless-Houston (HHH), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we collaborate with various Houston-based medical and pharmacy schools to ensure our services are student-managed with oversight from attending physicians and licensed pharmacists.

People experiencing unstable housing are at a higher risk of contracting communicable diseases and suffering from the consequences of untreated chronic illnesses. Our clinic serves over 3,200 individuals in the greater Houston area who are experiencing unstable housing, providing services such as housing assistance, food aid, and healthcare prevention. One of our success stories is Joe Benson, who credits HOMES Clinic with saving his life during his five-year experience with unstable housing. Joe now works as a Community Health Worker at HHH and is a national leader for social justice and health equity.

Madisyn Cox, a collegiate athlete and medical student in Houston, is passionate about dedicating her time to HOMES Clinic. She has helped expand our presence beyond the clinic through social media and community outreach, showcasing the impact our volunteers can have. Donations from supporters like you empower us to provide resources for our patients, public health initiatives, and research for better outreach and caregiving.

Healthcare for the Homeless - Houston (HHH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation with a mission to promote health, hope, and dignity for those affected by unstable housing.
