"We had an appointment with Dr. Accord at 10:45am, it took 45 minutes just for them to call us back to the room and then another 45 just for the doctor to come in for an evaluation. We’ve seen Dr. Accord in the past and it never took this long. We were told she was running a little behind, but almost 2 hours after the appointment time is just ridiculous. I understand things happen and you run a little late, but this late you might as well just reschedule all later appointments in the day. We originally weren’t able to come in until March as that’s when the next available time they had was but we were put on a waiting list if an earlier appointment time became available and when it did we took it. If I had known it would take this long I would have just left the appointment at the original day and time. I recommend taking an entire day off just to get through your appointment. The nurse was very apologetic and brought us waters, but this has been the absolute WORST experience we have had with Cook Children’s."
