"Love these people! They see all of my children and I was able to keep the same Dr. for them all. Cook is always amazing, and this office is no different."
"We have been patient for 13 years and every time something is needed the doctor and Staff or rude and always having me jump through hoops. I work in the medical field and I know you have to have patients be treated like this. I only have my son seem by Dr Hampton because I've put up with the staff for so long but today was enough . I am rating them less then one star."
"Super annoyed right now. My child was diagnosed with colitis last week at a non-Cook’s Urgent Care. She is not 100% better so I attempted to be proactive on a Friday to schedule her with our PCP for an appointment on Monday as her meds will run out Sunday night. I was told that because it wasn’t Cook’s Urgent Care, that I will need to have the other UC fax them the info. No prob. But then I was told that if she gets worse over the weekend or before our PCP is available on Wednesday, then I need to take her to Cook’s UC before I bring her in to see our PCP. No appointment was scheduled. Sounds and feels like the priority has been placed on the process rather than the well-being of my child. So much for being proactive. When a parent calls and asks for help, help them. Do better."
"Don't use Kim mangham she dosnt know what she's doing. Told us our 1.5 year old was autistic, fat and had heart murmur so we dished out the money for all the test at her request just for them all to come back negative and on top of all that told our insurance that my daughter didn't have surgery when she had 2 and because of this we had to pay out of pocket for my daughter speech then turned around told us it was impossible for a kid so young to have allergies yet my daughter was tested and it came back positive that she had a bad dust allergies that cause a reactive air way that cause the speech delay. Kim Maugham was wrong on all front and waisted our money and time."
"I visted this office Sunday as my son had been running a fever every 4 hours since Friday night. Of course our pcp (keller office) is closed on the weeekend (which i think should open at least half a day on Saturday!) Check-in was fast and staff was pleasant but here we are Tuesday amd he is still running a fever every 4 hours! Covid, Flu, and strep test we ran all negative and after that i was literally dismissed. Nothing was prescribed and no further examination was done to my son. I was just told by the doctor to treat at home and when I asked for vitamin recommendations to boost immune agian i was dismissed and told my son is over weight and doesnt need it. Today Tuesday I'm going to try to get in with pcp if not I will be taking him to a family clinic that 100% of the time is the ones who figure out what is wrong and address the symptoms and illness. I am tired of getting dismissed by cooks children and being told to treat it at home with Tylenol and motrin. $300 later (bill from family clinic) and copays from cooks and probably a big urgent care bill later and not to say all the extra days my son is suffering of fever I have to give in to going somewhere who is not his pcp. Cooks needs to figure out a better way to address their cases. It blows my mind that a general clinic is more successful at finding what is wrong and addressing illness than the facility that we trust to be out pcp, what is the point of having you guys if my child has to suffer more if i treat it the ways you tell me. Thanks for no help, Cristal Vazquez Patient: Adrian Cedillo"
