Cation on the Guadalupe

"Right on your own space on the river. The chairs and umbrellas in the water made for a nice relaxing couple of days in the water. It sets right next to a VFW, which is open to the public and has many events. It's also close to the downtown area of New Braunfels."

"I can't say enough wonderful things about this place and stay. My daughter and I had a great time this week. The beds are comfy and the entire condo was nice, super clean. You're in location to get to everything fast. The river is nice to go down at sit to have coffee or bring your pets or hangout on the property. This property isn't the access to float - BUT it's a EASY walk or ride to get onto the river to do your tubing, not far to get to the part you get onto the river at all... You don't get on the river here at the condo, that I saw. But right up the street less then a mile you can. Walk to it. The water park is one block away. Love this place! Quiet, relaxing, peaceful, and beautiful! No big party people! Nice place! Private area! Price is good! The property manager Dustin is fantastic! Dustin goes beyond to help! I will be back! Love this place and spot!! Thank you Dustin for everything!!!! ❤️"

"AMAZING!! My wife and I along with another couple spent a week at Cation and we cannot say enough about our stay. It all started as we entered our unit which was beautifully decorated, clean and inviting. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and equipped with anything we needed. After a great night of sleep, we especially enjoyed an early morning cup of coffee on the balcony watching the deer feeding and traveling through the field between us and the river. Although it was too cold to play in the river, we took a casual stroll down to the water to take in the peaceful atmosphere and grab a photo op. Madison was extremely attentive and a joy to meet. She gave us fantastic recommendations on restaurants and places to visit during our stay. There is a 100% chance we will return for another visit. Thank you Madison and your crew for a great vacation at Cation on the Guadalupe!!!"

"The room was exactly as posted on website. It was clean and beautiful!! Madison went way out of her way to make our stay so special. It was Wurstfest and we had free shuttle to and from festival. She had the cutest cookies upon arrival. The beds furniture was so comfortable and the decor was excellent. We had a large group of 9 and all plan to return soon."

"My husband and I decided to escape for the weekend to relax and recharge. Booked Cation at the last minute and boy, I’’m glad we did! Madison who runs the property, answered all my questions via email very quickly and even called me to suggest a room for booking. Communication at the Cation was amazing and made everything super easy such as checking in and out. We arrived to a room that looked just like the photos online and smelt brand new. The decor was perfect, and the kitchen was stocked with all that you need for preparing meals. I am a person who appreciates the little details so the local coffee, towel hooks in each room and great smelling soaps, lotions, shampoos were the perfect touch. We spent the entire day at the river and pretty much had it all to ourselves. We also enjoyed lunch at the tables provided under the beautiful pecan trees, it was the perfect day! On top of that, Madison and her sweet husband hosted a 5PM wine event at the river. It was so nice visiting with them and hearing the history of the property. It was a quick stay, but a wonderful one and just what we needed!"
