"HUGE HUGE thank you to House of Blades! We were in Fort Worth last week and had a last minute Christmas gift my dad wanted for my mom. I brought in the Stanley cup and left it to be engraved. I dropped it off around 11am and House of Blades called about 12:15ish to let me know it was ready. This was absolutely the fastest turn around time I’ve ever had ANYWHERE! I expected to have to leave it for a few days just because of the holiday season and it being so last minute. It was a huge and much appreciated surprise that they told me it would be done in a couple of hours! The engraving is perfect and I can’t thank them enough! So wish I lived closer to the Fort Worth area because House of Blades would get ALLLL of my business ha!"

The turn around time was really quick even with the holidays here. Not to mention I had a last minute change to my order that I called in. "House of Blades sells enthusiast products, but doesn't have the enthusiast employees to match. I was very interested in a knife they had on display, but found its pivot was very loose and had a lot of blade play. I proposed we could tighten it to see if the knife feels better, and if so, I'd take it. The employee informed me that tightening a knife's pivot was pointless, as it would just come loose again. Battling the urge to argue this misconception, or remind them that loctite exists, another employee behind the counter adds, "Hey man, it's probably just not the right knife for you. How it is out of the box is usually as good as it's going to be." Wow, I thought, two bad takes back to back. No one cared to validate my concern for the pivot, no one wanted to check it. I realized at this point I was not in like-minded company, and left the store empty handed. In the end, I'm not too upset.. I'm actually somewhat impressed with how efficiently they lost what should have been an easy sale. They very quickly helped me recognize the value in finding a store with staff that cares to learn about their products. I'll keep looking."

"I live in Lubbock, but every time I head to Fort Worth I make it to HOB! I went in looking for a knife for me and a gift for a family member and Cris helped me out. I explained what I needed and he knew exactly what to show me! He was very patient with my questions and made sure that I was confident with my purchase.
