"This is the greediest company I deal with out of all my bills! They don’t even deserve one star. They can’t guarantee us good, clean, safe drinking water, but they sure want their money every month. Bunch of snooty people working for this place! Greedy companies attract greedy people, this company makes that very clear anytime you have to deal with them for anything."
"Had my water turned off without ever receiving a bill or cut off notice. The lady I talked to had a chipper idgf about your problems attitude. If it wasn't mandatory to go through them I would definitely switch water companies. But that's what you get when choice is taken away by government run utilities"
"Now my second account with them. Again they need an obscene amount of info. I dont understand the deposit. I dont get why you need anything other than payment for service. They overcharge for water. Should be around $20 a month but from what i can tell it is going to be closer to $60. Bad policy, bad price, bad everything all around wish I could give no stars."
"I pay my bill faithfully every month. Online at that. I paid my bill online and wrote down the reference number. Despite paying it they still showed up to disconnect my water. I call the office and she doesn’t show the payment. So I give her the reference number and she has to call me back. When she calls me back she says now she she’s it and the work order was closed at 1053 and my payment wasn’t received until 1055. But I paid it before they were even here! Proceeds to tell me had it t shown up one minute earlier then they could have waived the fee. So I had to pay a 50.00 fee to have my water reconnected because their system lagged in showing a payment. I pay my bill faithfully every month! Customer service is a joke and the field workers are beyond rude. I could see if I had problems paying my bill every month but it’s paid every single month."
"We sold our home, closing on 12/28/18. We were not aware that disconnects need requested 2 days in advance. Since new owners needed to be in by end of year, they requested the account be put in their names with no disconnect/reconnect. I got my final bill and were charged for 4700 gals of water. We had not lived in home during the billing period. The full time we lived in home we didn’t have that kind of usage other than when there was a leak. And I have to say the district was fair in adjustments at that time. But to be billed for what amounts >142 gal/day when we weren’t in home is crazy. When I called, the lady was pleasant, but basically there was nothing to be done even though it was not in line with prior usage. since the payment had already been deducted from my account because I had signed up for auto pay to avoid problems while out of state and needing home in working order, there was little I could do. So I am not unhappy with service we had while a customer of the water district, I want to warn anyone leaving the district to make sure you know policy of account processing and look out for yourself. Don’t worry about being good to new account holders. I am writing this off as a learning experience and my last good deed of 2018- allowing the new homeowners to have water at my expense when they moved in over holiday weekend."
