"I've been stopping here annually for 5 years now. Great location no more than 3 minutes from I-65 E'town exit. Nice campsites, cabins, easy in and out for water resupply or dump needs for a reasonable fee. Can't go wrong here. Management is always awesome!"
"It was the most peaceful and beautiful setting where we were at. The staff is very kind. They're on hand and quik to respond to your needs. Only downside was that the lake was at the other end of the park. But they are dog friendly. So that was a plus. You have your own picnic table and tire rim for a fire. They have a pool and a playground for children. Next time, however, we'll ask for a lot closer to the lake so that we can fish. But all in all, it was a great 3 day weekend. We had a good time. Thank you."
"Arrived and was put in a spot that was muddy and had trees where I had to back into another site to be able to get out of mud and open awnings.Had planned to stay a week, but never setup camper. They did refund all but my $50.00 deposit. Pictures of place is deceiving,no gravel on the sites, sites are small for large rigs.Have no clue why this has such a high rating. Good Sam’s should have better standards. I don’t like loosing money but sometimes it’s worth it not to be miserable and deal with mud for a week.[they said it would dry up, forecast was showers for next 4 days]Its in a residential area. Definitely won’t return or recommend."
"Had to stop for a night & found this nice little campground. Level pads, nice pool, pretty trees & clean bathrooms. It’s a few minutes from the interstate so if you listen you can hear some faraway tractor trailers but overall is a very peaceful campground that is not covered in cement and RV pads. You can tell the family that owns this campground takes pride in their work. Will stay here again if we are ever up this way again. 10/10"
"The camp ground is decent. Good for a stop over or quick weekend. The lady at the front desk needs to be replaced, her costumer service skills need a lot of help. If she doesn't want short term campers they should change their campground. We definitely felt very unwelcomed. Not sure why the rules are so crazy for the usage of the pool either. We were a small group in for the weekend with a few visitors for a day. We kept to ourselves, didn't give any issues and left zero messes. I feel she must have had some issues with past campers and now takes that out on everyone. This campground will for sure lose business. Our group will not be returning. I don't recommend staying. It is clean and quiet but the staff is not friendly or helpful."
