"Never want to stay here again. I killed so many roaches. Carpets were disgusting. Felt like I couldnt sleep thinking a roach would crawl on top of me. Highly unrecommend."
"I don't know how this dump is legally allowed to remain open. Yes, it is that bad. On arrival, the lobby had what I assume was a drunk homeless guy "Just hanging out". We were booked there for one night for myself, and four nights for my business companion. They couldn't find the one night reservation, but had an extra available room. The room was DISGUSTING. Stains throughout the carpet, floor tiles loose in the bathroom, and no light working in the shower/toilet area. The flip-over door lock was also broken off, suggesting at some point the door had been kicked in. Not a great feeling of security when you are dead tired and needing to go to sleep. My work companion told me he had to kill bugs in his room next door before sleeping, and cringed all night about what may be crawling around in the dark. On checkout, he cancelled the remaining nights he was supposed to stay there to book somewhere else. Said he would rather sleep in the backroom of our store there if he had to, than at that hotel again. The place needs to be leveled. You have been warned."
"1. When we arrived at the check-in counter the clerk was asleep. 2. After waking the clerk it was apparent had been drinking and was drunk. 3. The clerk was unable to find our reservation at first because of his intoxication. 4. Once he finally got us checked in and assigned our room the key would not open the door. 5. Several attempts by both myself and the desk clerk to open the door without avail, he called the maintenance personnel for assistance. 6. When the maintenance person arrived it was clear he also had been drinking heavily and was intoxicated. 7. We continued to make attempts to open the door using the room key the clerk gave us when suddenly the door swung open and a highly upset young woman exited the room. She stated she was frightened thinking someone was attempting to break into her room. She was moved to tears. This also posed a safety issue since the current tenant could have been armed at shot first and asked questions later. 8. After the fiasco, we called Wyndham to have the points we used to reserve the room reinstated. The Wyndham agent was extremely helpful and got our points reinstated. 9. At this point we found the La Quinta a few doors down and was able to rent an available room. 10. We stay at La Quinta often when we travel because the newer locations are very nice. The location where we stayed was really sub-par to what we are used to, however the desk clerk did explain that due to the age of the facility it was being changed to a motel 8. 11. All in all the experience was extremely frustrating and we will likely never book a room at any of Wenham's Days Inns."
"Sometimes the rooms are questionable. Last room had a nasty rag sitting on the TV stand. Room before that was literally falling apart. The curtain for privacy had a big part missing. They stink but are cheap so there's that"
