"You can hear the pipes of sewage every time someone in the building use the restroom super annoying it wont let you sleep, they charge you a security deposit that “will be refunded” after you hand back the key, LIES! Im still waiting for my $40 refund…"

"The front desk was extremely helpful during my stay and they are the reason for any stars. There was a group of probably about 15-20 teenagers standing in the hallway outside of my room after 9pm being loud and obnoxious, and they took care of it promptly. The room and location was great. However I had an incident here on a wet floor while carrying my toddler in the lobby, and the only person who showed any sense of compassion was the gentleman I reported it to at the front desk. It has been 2 weeks since the incident and I have received very little correspondence. I had to miss a week of work and didn't get to enjoy the remainder of my trip here yet management doesn't seem to think it's important enough to address it within 2 weeks or even ask if we are okay. This isn't convincing me of good hospitality from this hotel chain. Typically I'm a IHG gal so I guess I'll steer clear of Marriott from this point forward."

"Marriott gave us a double-booked room. I was given 2 key cards to a room that a complete stranger is already occupying. And the scary part is that the key card actually worked, I was able to open the room using the key card given to me by Marriott while it was being occupied by people who I do not know. This is a shocking experience for both my party and the poor couple inside the room. I am giving this hotel a zero rating for safety."

"No complaints on our stay. Room was clean. Prices were reasonable. It's close to restaurants & concert venues. Stay was quiet and there is a pool & gym available if you need it."

"So if I could give zero stars I would. This room was trash. We've stayed at this property several times in the past with no issues. It's been a couple years since we've stayed, but it's close to the Cynthia Woods Pavilion so that's why we chose this location once again. So at first sight, everything appears fine, but I'm a germophobe so I always bring cleaning supplies and Lysol with me. So I do the bathroom first. The shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned, but I had my supplies so I cleaned it. I pull the comforter back on the bed and the sheets are thin and stained in multiple places. When sheets are that bag is fine to throw them away. So I call the front desk, and the gentleman was very helpful. He said he didn't have anyone there to change the sheets, but he could put me in another room. He brings the key and allows me to look at the room. First thing I do is pull back the comforter and it's the same issue. He apologizes and offers another room. I told him to not worry about it and just bring sheets because I'd already cleaned and I'd just have to do the same thing again. So he brings fresh linens. We go to our event and come back to shower and go to bed. My husband goes first and I go last. Before I could even get soaped up good, the shower starts backing up. By the time I finish, the shower is full of water. The next morning at 9 a.m, we hear knocking and before we could get to the door, housekeeping is trying to come in. We always put the extra latch on the door, so when they realize it they apologize and leave. My husband then calls The front desk and ask what time is checkout because housekeeping tried to come in. The lady tells him 12, but then starts to question him. She starts asking him did he pay for the room because it shows the room is vacant, what name did he check in under, and how did he get the room. So he tells her all he did was ask for checkout time. Five minutes later we hear someone beating on the door and it's the front desk lady. By this time my husband is highly upset and asks her why she's harassing us. She tries to explain that the system was showing the room was empty and was trying to figure out what was going on. All I have to say is, that was our last time staying there and I would encourage anyone who wants to stay at that location not to."
