Hyatt Place Dallas / Las Colinas

"After a long day of traveling in horrible cold and wet weather conditions I was ready to check into my room. The guy at the front desk was not welcoming at all. He had absolutely no personality and service skills. Simply asked for my Id and card and gave me my key. I went to order food, him and the manager both just pointed to the menu and said they would call me when it was ready. An hour later I went down to see about my food and it was on the front desk. They said they tried calling but apparently my phone in the room was not working. They didn’t even apologize or try to take it to my room. Lastly my toilet didn’t work and still no apologies. My team stayed in the same hotel and they too received bad service from the entire staff. Rooms are okay, service is horrible and food is bad! I got up the next morning, checked out and went to the Embassy Suites."

"This hotel is in a great location located right by DFW. They have great snack and breakfast options. The rooms were a little dated but clean. EJ was helpful but not pleasant at all. He was sitting texting on his phone… anytime we’d make a request he act as though it was a task. Otherwise, 5 stars!"

"This Hyatt strikes a balance between convenience and comfort. Location near the freeway is ideal for travelers, and mornings shine with attentive staff and a delicious, hot breakfast buffet. However, the evening service falls short of the top-notch morning. Overall, the clean rooms and pleasant stay put it squarely in the "average" range. Just be aware: Second-floor rooms can carry lingering kitchen smells; request a higher floor!"

"The location of this hotel made it easy to get to AT&T Stadium for the game, not to mention it wasn't too far from some of the great restaurants that I visited while in town for the weekend. My only complaint is that one of the elevators would not allow you to go to the third floor where my room was located, you either had to go one floor above and walk down or go one floor before and walk up which was very annoying. The rooms were very nice with plenty of room, you didn't feel cramped."

"AVOID. Extremely disappointing on many levels. Service is just acceptable, but clearly the staff lacks training. Rooms are very small, and do not plan on using the closet. It's maybe 12 inches deep and you have to turn your clothes sideways for them to fit. Bathroom...plan on straddling the toilet in order to close the door. And I could go on and on about the smell. No water in the rooms, and they will only come every other day to clean. I would have canceled if I hadn't arrived so late. I will never stay at this hotel again."
