Atrium Hotel & Suites DFW 4600 West Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062

"American Airlines put up my plane-load of passengers here after they cancelled our flight. Hotel is old but adequately renovated. But when I arrived, the room I was given did not have any water, and I waited in vain for about 30 minutes for the open tap to start running. The front desk clerks first told me to keep waiting and then refused to give me a room with water. After about two hours an engineer came to my floor and turned on the main water valve to my floor, after which I was able to use the bathroom. But in the interim I had to brush my teeth in the public restroom on the first floor. The driver of the airport van was also speeding to and through the airport. I felt unsafe as we whizzed through various concrete on-ramps at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport. The only good part was the amazing quesadillas at the lobby restaurant."

"Had a voucher to stay here a night because of airline issues. It was comped as well as a 12$ food credit. Rooms were spacious and clean. Food in the restaurant was great! The customer service at the front desk, atrocious. Room phone did not work, called from my own phone. No one ever came up. Wanted room service, had front desk transfer 4 times, hung up on. 5th I called desk they told me to come down and order they are busy. I was having a day, didn’t want to do that. Just wanted peace n quiet. He transferred me again to restaurant, hung up again. Called front desk 5-6 more times, no answer. No manager on duty, out sick and only 2 servers in restaurant. It was busy because a lot of people had same issue I did. If it wasn’t for the front desk, everything would of been fine."

"Not as close to the airport as other hotels, but they do have a courtesy shuttle. My room was very large with a living room, wet bar area (no booze) and King bed with bathroom off of bedroom. Bar was great, service at the bar was great. Bed was comfy, but room faced atrium with the pool and kids were noisy in the pool at night. All in all, not a bad place if you need a place to sleep for a night."

"This hotel is so awesome and beautiful. It's super clean every where you go. The rooms are so clean and comfy. It's so amazing here. The staff here is extremely polite and will go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. I arrived late at night and received excellent service. I didn't have to wait, the concierge was at the front office working and greeting me right away. I highly recommend this hotel."
