Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas-DFW Airport N/Grapevine

"Came into town for a wedding near by and chose to stay here. The room itself was nice and breakfast was good, good location as well. Sadly I realized I had left behind some items and when I called to ask they assured me they would have the cleaning service check once they got to our floor we had stayed at and call me back. They did call back and informed me that they did not find it, I asked if they looked in any of the drawers in the tv stand and was told " oh we thought it would be immediately visible" but would go double check in the drawer. They called back stating they did not find it and offered no other support, the response the person on the phone gave brings to question how well the rooms are cleaned and checked for items. We spent time triple checking our bags at home for the items but could not locate them so it left the hotel as our only option. I am not able to easily go to the hotel because I live a couple states away, needless to say this put a huge damper on our weekend. I would not recommend staying here."

"The stay was nice, but unfortunately we left a few items behind. 100% positive these items were left behind; we reached out to the hotel. We were informed that the items were not there. I asked about it being in the cabinets and was told “oh, they didn’t immediately see it, so we can check again.” This brings up questions with cleanliness of the rooms, and if they do actually clean them. But also, why these items that were in a cabinet could not be found?? Disappointed is an understatement."

"My wife and I stayed here for about a week. We loved it. The staff was always accommodating and informative. Great customer service. The room was perfect. It was a very quiet experience even with lots of kids running around (holiday season). The complimentary breakfast was top tier, different every morning with a variety of options. The indoor pool was open and always clean. The water was warm. If I had one complaint, I'd suggest blasting heat in the pool area because getting out of warm water into freezing air was not fun. Haha. But all in all, we would definitely stay again. Didn't want to leave in the first place."

"Reserved a room two days ahead of time through the Hilton honors app. Checked in on the app before boarding my flight from Charlotte to DFW and specified that I would be arriving after 10pm, as this is an airport hotel and should probably expect late arrivals. Upon arrival, I was informed that the hotel was oversold and that my reservation was cancelled for “no show” despite having already checked in and no appreciable policy in my reservation referencing no shows. Had to scramble at 1AM to find somewhere else to stay. Called again in the morning to figure out what happened and make sure the charges were voided on my card but had to speak to an incredibly rude receptionist who again informed me that the hotel was oversold and that her manager would “handle it” before abruptly hanging up on me. Awful hotel with even worse service, do not stay here."

"We are truckers and sometimes when we make a delivery in a city, we decide to stay a few nights. We prefer Hampton Inn because they gladly accept our murderous pitbull Adelaide. After she demanded everyone stop and say hello to her, she made quick friends with the front desk staff who were happy to allow us an early check in (only because they hadn't been busy and had a room available) Housekeeping was very friendly and quick to ask if we needed anything after we spent our first night there. Mitch, the shuttle driver was a hoot, he picked out a nail salon and offered to drive me there, he kept me entertained with his great conversation! We felt very welcomed here and promised we'd be back in a month or two. Our room was lovely, clean, and comfy Breakfast was perfect!"
