Motel 6 Fort Worth, TX - East

"Friendly staff, clean rooms. Great location, with a waffle House, taco Bell, Lisa's chicken, and a gas station convenience store right there. However, we stayed two nights and a couple of the channels on the satellite were frozen and nothing was done about it. We called the office and alerted them and they have is excuses about them not knowing how to fix it. Other than that, a good value."

"0 stars. I had two rooms 135 & 136. 135- The phone did not work. The restroom floor looked like it hadn’t been swept in weeks. There appeared to be waste matter smeared on the rr door and the room had roaches! 136- The beds had NO blankets. Just a whole covered comforter with sheets. It too had roaches. I complained to the lady that checked us in. She said to go in when I checked out and speak to the manager. I did. The manager asked if I’d been offered a refund (I had not or I would’ve taken it). I explained all I was offered was to change rooms (about an hour later) my kids and nephew were already asleep. I tried explaining to manager but kept being interrupted by the check in lady, claiming she HAD offered a refund. These are by far the most disgusting rooms and poor customer service I have ever dealt with."

"The bad- no microwave, refrigerator, or extras. TV had poor reception and internet required additional fee. Maid took soap and used towels and didn't replenish. Outlet by mirror was unusable. AC was too cold even for summer in Texas and couldn't be adjusted. We had to unplug it. Wall had stains that appeared to be bug splatter. Toilet paper dispenser was missing and towel bar would not hold a towel. The good- room was quiet. Bed and pillows were average motel bed, not the worst for sure. Shower head was mounted high and comfortable for my 6 foot husband. Water was was nice and hot."

"I have stayed at this Motel 6 a few grimes. It is convenient to where I need to be and economical. This most recent stay was not as good as my usual experience. My check-in went alright but when I got to my room (222) it smelled like cigarette smoke (not a little bit-but as if someone had just lit up). I called the front desk. A person came to the room and agreed. She sprayed some air freshener but wasn't satisfied with the result so she arranged for me to move to a new room (116). So far it's a little inconvenient but OK. The next morning I got up and left to take care of my business. I left my small suitcase in my room as I had paid for 2 nights and would be returning in the evening. When i got back around 10pm, my key card didn't work. I went to the front desk and the attendant checked my key and said it out to work now. So I walked back and discovered that in fact it didn't work she then tells me that the room had been rented to someone else. I explained to her the switch from the previous evening but apparently it hadn't been entered into the computer. At this point I was concerned about the belongings I had left that morning. She said that she didn't have access to where items the maids had picked up were located and that no manager was available and that my only option was to stay in my original room (222). So, without my suitcase, toiletries, and prescriptions I stayed in roon 222 that night (at least the smoky smell was gone). I managed to get some sleep despite the fact that my neighbors were having some kind of wild romp-with attendant screams and moans I didn't know happened in real life. The next morning I went to the front desk wearing my clothes from the previous day. The gentleman on duty was very sympathetic and found my suitcase immediately. Thankfully everything was there. He was very apologetic. I had a cup of your decent lobby coffee which helped my attitude considerably. Except for the not-very-helpful night clerk I was feeling better about it all. I will probably come back as this unfortunate series of events has not been my usual experience."
