"This review is by Charles Moster, attorney at law. I have a law office in Lubbock and four other locations in Texas. We are across the street from this horrible hotel! Do not go to any hotel managed by this company particularly the Staybridge hotel near BJs restaurant!!! I stayed at the hotel, the Staybridge near BJ’s, on December 20 and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Do not go there. I say this as a hospitality lawyer who has represented hotels since 1990. Our room was disgusting, bathroom deplorable, fan did not go off, and worse. I try to address moving to a different room with the front desk and they refused to do it stating that I had purchased through a third-party. They should’ve done something to address my concerns other than being rude. I tried to speak to the manager and they told me she was off and would not take calls. Outrageous. Moreover, it appears that there may be issues with the dispensing of alcohol in the lounge after hours. I do not know whether there are any violations but it appeared that people were over drinking and it was a very rough element. The beer was free of charge and being poured readily! I did not feel safe there. If there was a lower rating than a zero this place gets it. Finally, I was falsely told that a full refund will be provided which is not the case given that it was done through Expedia. They just wanted to get me out of that hotel. I ended up canceling and not receiving a refund for three nights and found a much nicer place to stay, the Overton. What a horrible experience! To add, I reached this management company and discussed problems in detail. They never got back to me."

"I worked front desk at one of the hotels managed by this company. The job started out okay, but it quickly turned into the worst job experience I’ve ever had. The hotel manager (not general manager) is a very unprofessional and unpleasant person to work with. She treats her employees horribly and doesn’t know how to take criticism or accountability for her actions. She will blame everyone else for the shortcomings of the hotel instead of realizing that she is running the hotel into the ground with her awful attitude and lack of respect for her employees/customers. The owners/higher management also devalues and disrespects their workers. The micromanagement that is present within this company is tremendous. I would think twice before ever associating with this company in any form. Words of advice to this company: value and respect the people who make you so much money i.e your employees and customers"

"This business is unprofessional from the people that work in a hotel all the way to the main office they do not return your calls they have poor customer service they only want your money they are rude in Hector the CEO should really look at his employees I've been having an issue with them since March and when I demanded to speak to the CEO November of this year is when someone finally got back to me but she hung up in my face once I said that I will make sure to leave a Google review terrible company I would never recommend anyone"
