"Surprisingly disappointed with our stay. The shower lacked pressure which we thought might have been due to the clogging of the shower head. We asked for maintenance and they replaced the shower head. Still the lack of pressure persisted. We had others also staying and they had the same problem with their shower. The room was clean and as shown. The bed was on the firmer side of a mattress. The room darkening shade was not positioned properly so it allowed light into the room at night. The staff was friendly however at 9:30am came knocking on the door seemingly to see if anyone was in the room I guess. They had a clipboard making a note down and said my apologies no worries you do have until 11am. Strange that they would do this but my guess was they were making housekeeping rounds. Each day they did come in and give new bath towels. The location to the Lubbock convention center and the Buddy Holly Center was ideal and within walking distance. Unfortunately I wouldn’t book this location again solely due to the shower issues. The hotel was quick to attempt to rectify but it seems a property issue."

"I love this location. On January 22 Aubrey was our waitress- amazing loved her. Not only that but the next day Abigail was out waitress- loved her too. I just love the hospitality- great location great service."

"Hilton loyalist here (Diamond). First time to Lubbock and if I ever have to return, I won't be staying here. Room didn't feel incredibly clean to begin with but the sheets were tucked in and I couldn't find anything wrong or out of the ordinary in the room. So I unpacked and took a shower. Midway through my shower, I noticed a large used bandaid from the previous guest hanging out on the top of the hand rail inside the shower. Grossed out, I stopped my shower, dried off, got dressed and called the front desk. They were sold out but offered for me to go to a sister property. The front desk agent came up wearing a glove, removed the bandaid and apologized. We checked the bed and she promised it was cleaned and the sheets were fresh. I don't know for fact that the sheets were not fresh but it didn't feel fresh. Thankfully this was a short visit. Oh, and the front desk agent promised me a call from the general manager the following day. That was a week ago and no call has been received. The general manager must be a very busy person! What a shame - the hotel itself is nice and the front desk team is friendly. But I value my health and safety too much to give a second chance when it comes to cleanliness."

"We spent a weekend at this hotel. It's very nice inside and our 2 room suite overlooking the pool was great. We did have a couple of disappointments. Room cleanliness was below what we expected and the indoor pool was too cold for my family to enjoy."
