"I have been seeing Dr. Mohay-Ambrose in the Frazier Eye Institute for 10 years. I find her knowledge up to date, patient with any questions I might have, and her understanding toward my conditions appropriate. I just wish the community of Doctors I see in several UofL clinics I attend for my overlapping multiple conditions were able to easier review and communicate with what the other Dr.'s treatment plans are."

"They used to be a wonderful facility however all their good doctors keep leaving and you are left with drs that don’t care about the patient. You can’t get a return call for issues you are having, when you do finally get to speak to someone they are rude and when you, as the customer, refuse to put up with that they drop you as a patient. Avoid this place like the plague!!!"

"Planning on cataract surgery with UofL Physicians? Run away as fast as possible and don’t look back. There are better choices than this one. I had my eye screening done and meet Dr Washington, who is a very cold person to interact with almost to the point of being uncaring and more interested in getting you out of the office. Dr Washington gave me two choices an improve vision in the mid to long range using cheaters for reading or reading distance to mid range. I choose mid range to distance. For both eyes. The scheduler was out of the office. I called the following day to schedule the surgery. I was given a day and time then hung up. Oh, wait a minute that’s one eye called back the second time to schedule the other eye. I ask for a rough estimate cost for both eyes. Totally clueless. Two days before surgery, the paper work finally arrived late in the afternoon. The paper work did not match up with what I discussed with the doctor. Instead of mid to long distance correction lens implant. It was for long distance only. I was advise that I would need to go back for another eye exam. I ask why did I not receive the paperwork a week or two earlier so problems and any misunderstanding can be worked out. Never got a reply. Sure go ahead and make an appointment with UofL Physicians You will be greatly disappointed. The Dr is uncaring, staff that couldn’t care less and a surgery scheduler who can’t schedule, provide a rough Estimates or provide the paperwork in a timely manner. You have been warned. Stay away!!! Should you decide to go with UofL Physicians I hope you have a good lawyer you will need it. T"

"This place is ridiculous. We came here for a juvenile glaucoma test for our 4 year old. The appointment was at 1. Once we got here there was no one available to check us in, after being checked in we were called back past our appointment time. They dilated my sons eyes and we have been waiting here for upward of 2 hours for the doctor to finally come back to check the dilation. Ridiculous"

"My last visit wasn't so great. The eye specialist there had an attitude when I brought my daughter back after the medication he gave me for my daughter's eyes did not work. He said next time I should call instead of coming out there smh. So...they couldn't just tell me that on the phone when I CALLED and made an appointment? Maybe if we were WHITE we would've gotten treated better. I'll take her elsewhere."
