"I've been getting therapeutic massage for back and shoulder pain for over a decade. I have pretty high standards for a massage therapist, partly because my pain is chronic and I need real help (not just to feel good) and partly because for a long time massage was difficult for me to afford, so I needed it to make a difference when I could afford it. Donald, the practice owner and director of the school, is supremely professional and takes his work seriously. He's also easy to talk to if I want to talk, but will be quiet if I need silence. Most importantly, his skill level at the table is EXCELLENT. He's extremely knowledgeable, intuitive and understands how to both work *with* my body AND challenge it to release areas of tension. He remembers my unique preferences, but he can also adjust his approach as I need it--if I show up with new pain in a certain area he'll target that, but if I just want to relax and destress all over, he gives an excellent and deeply relaxing whole body massage. During the COVID-19 pandemic I was very impressed with how much research and care he put into keeping himself, his staff and his clients safe, so I felt comfortable continuing to seeing him. I have been going to his practice on and off for several years, and more recently on a regular basis because I can afford it and I plan to keep going for as long as I can. I have and I will continue to recommend him to friends and colleagues. I have also had 1-2 other massages from others in his practice and their work was also very good, I assume because Donald manages his practice well and selects partners based on the same standard of excellence he has for himself. I recommend Donald, but I'm sure you'll be in good hands with anyone at this practice."

"I used to go to still point wellness a lot after my back injury a few years ago. Kevin's massages were so wonderful. I used to visit about once a week for about a year due to my injury. I went back today for the first time in a long time. It's was a decent massage just not what I paid for.. I paid for an hour and I only got about 45 min.. If you have never been to Stillpoint wellness then make sure to arrive a little early because since I hadn't been there in a while they made me fill out a new personal information form (which was completely fine) but it cut into my massage time which I was unaware of.. Oh and she totally walked in on me undressing which was really awkward. After that she didn't speak or even apologize. She obviously didn't want me to be there. Instead of feeling comforted and relaxed I felt very uncomfortable my entire visit."
