"So i only went to this school for 6 grade but just tell u it was ok the 6 graders dont know how to act and knowing i know what to do is sad because everyone else is mostly unmature. The teachers were really nice though if mrs trout is there tell her shes awesome. Well the food wasnt great dont know why everyone thinks it is but the staff is nice. Sometimes at lunch i would only have like 5 minutes to eat from 30 minutes thats how long it took to get lunch and i was lucky and was the 4 to get lunch but still they only let u talk at our 5 minutes of lunch. Gym was not fun cause everyone was getting into trouble but dodgeball was fun. the clubs were fun and you got cool opportunities i cant give you the full experience mabye it gets better as the years go on as i said im only going to 7 grade . In conclusion, i think that if you get past the bad things its ok but you still spread those little bad things out its a bad day everyday but it gets better its good in academics and sports behavior not so much i think its a bit overated but compared to other schools it good not great or bad good."
"I'm going to start by saying this: I'm not entirely sure why these people are giving reviews, because they're not going to help anybody. Not doubt this is the first review that's actually going to give reasonable info. Number one, I don't have any idea why people are going on about how great the food is. I could rant on and on about those days in 6th grade where I didn't eat anything at all because I forgot my home lunch and I didn't want to eat the things they fed us there. I worry about what these people are eating at home if they think the food here is amazing-- unless the school's changed since three years ago when I left. Now, I'm not going to say that I hated the school, because that isn't true. I did dislike it, though. I mean, I loved most of my teachers. What I didn't love was the fact that the system was very one-size-fits-all. The school website says that their mission is to "provide a safe, diversified learning environment, which recognizes individual needs and prepares students socially and academically to enter high school." I couldn't agree less; while I was there, the environment was nothing but safe, with an unwelcoming student body of kids laughing and joking about murder and rape; an environment that ignored my individual needs, making it very difficult for me to learn; and an environment that was DEFINITELY socially and academically preparing students for high school. However, I must be honest, I did have a few really good teachers. Some of them were great, helpful teachers that really did provide a learning experience for me. I didn't enjoy the way it worked in the advanced classes, though-- the advanced kids were expected to be able to take a larger workload. When I couldn't handle all the extra crap they gave us, they decided that I needed to be moved down to the average math class. Then, I was stuck with people below my level, just because the school could not, in fact, "recognize my individual needs." It makes me sad that I couldn't have had a better time at the school, but when your mind has out-matured the other students, it makes it a pain to be in such a group. I could rant on and on and on about every little thing wrong, but I've written this long enough, so I'll try and sum it up: essentially, I disliked the school, and I had a bad time, despite the little things that were nice. Oh, and tell Mrs. Mathis that she's the best English teacher anyone could hope for. That's about all I have to say."
