"I highly recommend United Holland Mattress Company! I came in shopping around for a new mattresses with my kids. The owner Tony was so kind and nice to us! He saved the day and let me charge my phone as well! His kindness meant a lot! And the mattresses are awesome as well!"
"Nice bright store, great selection, test models on the floor and they will get ur mattress in a week. Mark & Tony are great!"
"We bought a mattress here 6 years ago and it's been amazing. Still is, but we needed a king size for new home. We went back and they no longer had the same mattress. That should have been our clue... We ended up purchasing whaaat we were told was the new form of that matress. We bought it and finally moved into our new home last.night. it's HORRIBLE!!! I called them and there is no recourse, we're just stuck out over $2k. So watch it. Go somewhere that has those "try it" guaratees."
"Don’t be fooled by the one star here. We went to the owner of the store in Denton, sat down in the back room with him and had him build us a custom mattress, taking into consideration my husband large frame. We wanted to make sure it was built for his size. So, the manager tells us exactly what we need, he tells us of the 10 year warranty, we pay for it, leave, and anxiously wait the delivery. After less than 3 months we are falling into each other into the middle of the mattress. We went to the store, the manager tells us, “well that’s no good, you had the wrong one made. You needed one like this”, and he tells us a completely different make of mattress. So he tells us to go home and measure the dip and email the pics to him and he will get us a new mattress made. We did that and didn’t hear back so I emailed him again and left him a voice mail. He never did call me back but he did leave a message on my husbands phone telling him that he would let us pick another mattress as long as we paid a $795.00 restocking fee! Now why would we pay $1200.00 for one and then 3 months later on a Ten year warranty, pay another $795.00 to restock it. Seems they might be selling used as new! Buyer beware!! Terrible customer service!!"
"I have purchased 5 mattresses at this place. First one being a custom made unit for my RV. The mattress I had made was awesome! The next 4 were for my house. 3 for my daughter's rooms and one for mine. I was told the mattress I was getting was off the same quality I had made for my RV. After one night of sleeping on it, I could tell that was not the case. I rolled to the middle of the bed every night, not to mention my wife hates it because she told into me every night! It also gives me the worst back pain I've ever had! I called the store and had to wait for someone to call me back. At this time I'd had it for 2 weeks. The employee called me back and said the best "Tony" would do is have me come all the way back up to Denton, get a mattress bag, come home, bag up the mattress and bring back the mattress to Denton and if it still looked brand new, he would charge me a 20% re-stocking fee and "let" me buy another one of his mattresses....? First of all, they tell you they warrantee their product.. not true. I called to tell of my dissatisfaction and was told this... second of all, they were going to re-sell what I would call a badly built mattress, the one I currently have.. case and point, it had to look brand new and then charging me the re-stocking fee on a faulty product. Buyer beware! For the same price I could have gone to a place that would have honored their word. Not only that, when I told them the mattress had a dip in it, they didn't seem surprised or sorry for that matter.. they just wanted to make sure they had their asses covered... well at least Tony had his covered.. I'm sure he sleeps well."
