"The quality of the apartment itself is decent, and the front office staff are very kind and helpful. However, this apartment is located in a very dangerous area of town. I’ve had 4 packages stolen, one of them within 20 minutes of delivery. They do not have a mail room or accept packages at the front office (unless you call and ask, but even then it’s only during business hours.) Given the part of town this apartment complex is in they could certainly do more to ensure the safety of its residents. For example, parking passes. Or a gate. Or even a mail room. Security is available to call, but other than that this apartment is not secure. I would not recommend young college students live here. One of the cars in my apartment building was broken into (glass broken). I understand this isn’t the fault of the apartment complex directly - but it all goes to show that there is a SIGNIFICANT amount of crime in this complex and it’s definitely because of 1. The area and 2. The known lack of security in this complex Additionally they require 2$ per load of laundry in very small washers. It costs me close to 10$ a week to do laundry. Just something to keep in mind as well."
"Since 2021, I've lived here. Will share what I've felt about this apartment. Pros: proximity - if you are UofL student, this is one of good options. Cons: facilities in units and the office system are bad for money. One bedroom rent are almost 20% increased now. Even though other properties' around here has had a rise either since the Covid struck, I feel like this is too much for this quality. Looks like others already mentioned these; loud A/C, awful kitchen vent, inadequate soundproof and insulation, unclean laundry room, etc. Regarding the management system, I don't think they hear our voices at all since whenever I try to schedule any maintenance requests, they don't understand my situation, which I have a sensitive dog. I just wanted to set the timeline so that I can stay for a while. They didn't give me any specific schedule plus, even told me that keep my dog in the cage to visit someone while I'm out which is for all daytime not for hours. So, these days I just don't call maintenance request and holding out until the end of my lease date. General review : close enough to UofL campus other than that you might feel it's quite uncomfortable in many senses."
"They keep bugging about us reviewing them on Google and all I can is say is I would NOT choose to live here. We've lived here before a few years ago when it was University Park Apartments and again briefly before new management took over and it became Crestview. Since new management took over they have made the place way worse to live in. They have left huge shipping containers in the parking lot for over a year for no reason and they are attracting roaches and other pests, but they refuse to remove them despite them being a huge eyesore in the middle of the community. They had a construction company last summer that did an awful job of sealing the apartments and made it easy for bugs, beetles, mice and other pests to get in to the apartments through the windows and doors. We have talked with multiple neighbors who are experiencing the same issues and there is no fix in sight. Communication is not there from management on how they will fix these issues. We've never had to deal with these issues at any of our other apartments and will be leaving at the end of our lease."
"Decent place to stay if you are on a budget. AC is loud and disturbing. If that is something that will bother you better reconsider your options. Kitchen vent is not goods and smoke fills up the apartment and you will have to smell what you cooked for over half of the day if you stay in."
