"I called La Fontenay and spoke to Priscilla today. She is incredible. She was both professional and enthusiastic when speaking with me. She explained all details and processes I would have to go through if I were to choose La Fontenay as my new place to call home. She made everything comfortable and answered all my questions thoroughly. I even called back to thank her!!!! Overall a very pleasurable experience when I was completely prepared for another runaround with an ilprepared apartment complex. I'm pleasantly surprised:)"

"My catalytic converter got stolen from the parking lot and from the sound of it, so did at least 2 other people's. I let the complex know but nothing was ever done about it. One of my neighbors said their daughter's car was stolen from the lot too."

"DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Before I moved here I was pretty healthy. Upon living here, I started getting sick from all directions. I am highly allergic to mold. My apartment was apparently flooded before and all they did was paint over the problem. The maintenance man said it wasn’t mold. I had a hole in my bathroom wall from January 2020 til present. It was flooding, and they were saying it was condensation from the AC, which was a lie. I have documented paperwork from Doctors stating that my current health issues were brought on from the exposure to this mess. Issues from day one. It’s sad that they are wanting the money but never came to fix or replace the carpet. Even the health department told them to replace it and they didn’t. If at the time I had money to move I would have immediately. I was in and out of hospital because of this, and on my deathbed. I will say Joey is a good guy. And the former employee, Brent was good, too. The groundkeeper is cool too. Now the rest was unprofessional, rude, nasty, and thought they were better than the next. My overall experience has left a lifetime of regret and disappointment on me. Just sad that nobody tried to fix the problem. Was worried more about the money. Just wrong and unfair."

"I’ve been at LaFontenay for a year now and I’m very satisfied with my decision to move here. Yes, the place is older and needs updating…it does show some age in some areas so don’t expect anything new or fancy and you won’t be disappointed. But overall the apartments are clean and really spacious, they have a friendly staff that always responds quickly to any and all matters. The indoor and outdoor pools are nice and clean…super convenient and fun w/good family atmosphere! I will admit I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews before moving in, but I can definitely say I don’t regret my decision! I’ve never see any bugs or had issues with maintenance!! I’m grateful for LaFontenay and the staff for giving me the opportunity to live here. I didn’t have the best credit score, life had me in a bit of a pickle, I was barely eligible….but they welcomed me with open arms, first apartment I’ve ever had…for me this was a life/game changer!!! So yes I’m very thankful and would highly recommend!!!!"

"I have lived at La Fontenay for 8 years now. The people are really good. As long as you pay your rent, you are good. Whatever we needed fixing, they came over to fix. They were even nice enough to let me have an aquaponic garden on my porch. Just my opinion, but Joey is the best manager. Our stove went out. He replace it. Our fixtures needed replacing. He got it fixed. If people would just have patience, they would get done. We are moving because my wife and I have a house now. Best believe, me and my wife will miss this place. Been a great home for us since 2014. thank you"
