"If I could give this place negative stars I would. Beware! DO NOT MOVE HERE. This was the worse apartment that my family has ever lived in. We moved here to live in a better neighborhood. We thought that since these apartments were located in St. Matthews that they would be well kept but we were terribly mistaken. Our kitchen floor was coming up for 8 months and they waited until the new company Greystar took over to fix it. This is unacceptable. I asked and went to the office multiple times to complain. When this was finally addressed they had us move all of our things out in the breezeway and did not finish the floor until 12 am on a school night. The maintenance man complained that it would cost more money for them and that he would not be able to confirm when this would be completed if it wasn’t fixed that day. The people that fixed the floor left glue all over it, broke the kitchen door and the oven door. A replacement had to be issued. The windows on the second floor are not safe and swing wide open. We have a 2 year old that almost fell out and the staff refused to address our concerns. The manager advised that they would look into and I had. A few maintenance men look at it but no one fixed it. I had to call maintenance to fix our closet doors numerous times due to them not being properly installed. The tubs feel like they will come from up underneath you. Maintenance even mentioned that they need to be replaced but nothing seems to be important enough to get fixed here unless you complain for 8 months. The MOLD is exhausting. I kept our toilet clean and by the end of the week it looked like the photo below. Even after we moved out a month early it still looked like this. There are yellow stains that seep through the bathroom walls and black mold in the creases. There was mold growing on our things under the bathroom sink. We had to throw away countless things. I called and complained about the mold countless times. I even spoke to the manager about it and no one came to even check on the issue. I tried cleaning it but was unsuccessful. My son suffered from asthma the entire time we lived here. He has not had an attack since we moved out. When we moved to 4376 there were flies in the empty apartment and that should have been a sign. There are spiders everywhere. Pay close attention to the outside of the buildings and you will see all of the webs. My son is allergic to bites and had to go to the er a few times. We lived here for two years. The second year being the worse. We did not have access to the basketball court or amenities as advertised until they did a full remodel at the end of 2023. This place caused me so much stress and so many trips to the doctor. Please think twice and pay close attention to your apartment on your tour before you move here."
"I’ve lived here for almost 5 years. Nice apartments in a quiet complex with friendly neighbors. Fair prices in a great neighborhood. Never had any issues here. Maintenance request times have improved DRASTICALLY since Greystar took over, and everyone in the office is super friendly and helpful. Love it here!"
"In my almost two years of living here, I’ve had two emergency maintenance issues; a water leak and no AC. Both took over 3 days to get a response to, and a response was only achieved once we called the office every day. Lesser problems like washing machine and window sealing issues take well over a month and sometimes never get addressed despite several maintenance requests. Maintenance is friendly and helpful when they get here, it’s just impossible to get them here. The numerous amenities, location, and apartments are all great, but quickly lose their awe factor when im sweating in my 90 degree apartment because I can’t get my air conditioning fixed."
"Lived here for a year. Rarely had any issues but when I did maintenance was able to fix it within 24-48 hours. The location is in a perfect spot, and the interiors of these apartments are some of the nicest I've lived in."
"This is quite possibly the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I went 3 weeks without air conditioning and maintenance told me they didn’t know when it’d be fixed and they were all out of portable units. My dishwasher constantly had water in it (apparently from my sink) the entire time I lived there. Maintenance claimed to fix it but never did. When they did repairs, they would paint the wall with any color, so my walls were 3 different colors at one point in time. The smart lock on the door didn’t work. I couldn’t lock or unlock my door from the lock. (Maintenance never came to fix this issue). A maintenance man threatened my partner over our air not working, and for that reason, we were told we couldn’t renew our lease (despite all the problems, the location is ideal as it’s super close to my all my doctors and I’m pregnant. As long as you don’t need to contact the office or deal with maintenance, it isn’t the worst place to live.) They apparently illegally entered my unit and claimed to be attacked by a dog. (On this day, I was gone for only 30 minutes. So they either didn’t enter at all, or they did so illegally in the 30 minutes I was gone getting food, as there was only a maintenance request that they falsified.) When I brought this up, Karen was rude and dismissive. The floors are disgusting old white tile that’s cracked in multiple places so it always looks dirty. The office people are impossible to reach. Even if you go to the office, they’re closed at random times. They advertise amenities that they don’t have or that don’t work. The best part about this complex is the location. IF you can reach the office, Mercedes and Marek are amazing! I briefly worked with Linda and she was cool too. Talk to people at other apartment complexes about this place and they’ll tell you everyone that moves from this place is dissatisfied with them."
