"The staff is always very kind and courteous. They keep me up to date with my son's day and he always seems so happy! I couldn't ask for a better daycare!!"
"My son was at this daycare since he was 9 months old. At first I loved it when he was in the T1 classroom, they did different activities with him and they made sure to let my mother or I know how his day was going. When my child moved to the T2 classroom, everything changed. My son was bit several times and that issue I never complained about. Then they continuously sent my child home with a dirty onesie on from him having a bowel movement, or they just refused to clean his butt good, which caused him to have diaper rashes. They blamed it on having a new person but it happened before she came and even on days she wasn’t at work. My son even walked around for hours with mulch from the playground for hours in his onesie which means they didn’t check him before I picked him which had him fussy. On his last day which was 3/17 the director wasn’t even there to say thanks for your business. So today I went to talk to them and let them know since I gave them a two weeks notice that they changed so they told me that since I gave one of the workers my number they felt that I had all the info I needed about my child. They even stopped communicating and letting me know that he didn’t have diapers for the following day. Their very unprofessional, they don’t have enough workers but steady taking children, and their not getting the care and attention they need I feel parents should be notified and contacted on any incidents and anything going on with our children during the day not when we pick our children up, and there’s nobody there to talk to at the end of the day. Daycares are suppose to be a safe place we can take our children to when we’re at work, not to be worried about our children's safety all day when we drop them off!"
"I am not as involved in day to day interactions as my 5 year old daughters mother is with my daughters daycare - however, she absolutely LOVES it! And being a single father, I’ve grilled her (probably a little too much) to ensure there was nothing they hid or no chance of something bad happening to my baby girl. I’m blessed as my daughter never lies when it’s serious, and I trust her opinion and glowing recommendations. She’s finally making friends, as I moved away from a private nanny. She loves her teachers, and the stations and we often play “doggie daycare” with her toys. I can tell she’s very happy there, and I believe it’s those types of things that matter. In terms of professionalism, my daughter has a very high IQ and I have no other children so I don’t know exactly what I should expect at this age, but she picked up the ability to count and the mathematical foundation or repetition factor behind it and can go past 100 now. I’d like to think I taught her to write her name, but I think she learned it at daycare. I believe in only honest and thorough reviews, so I wish I could say “oh, I talk to them everyday when I pick her up and they are wonderful for ____ reasons..” but honestly that wouldn’t be true. However, I’ve only seen fantastic results. My daughter is truly happy to go to daycare, and is definitely not a morning person - so that tells me a lot. I am very grateful that she ended up with West End as I’m not sure, as stated, what I should expect but I’m extremely pleased with the past year she’s been going. They seem wonderful so 5 stars."
