"The property & room was very clean. The room was large and well furnished. The TV was a little confusing - could be simplified. Breakfast room was large, and the food provided was good quality, fresh, and checked frequently by staff. Excellent experience."

"Truly just an overall collapse of management and systems. First, when I went to check in, they couldn't figure out what room I was in...it turned out that another family member had already checked me in and initially I was charged for another room, but they did refund that once we figured out my room had already been paid for...that's about where the good things ended. Our family had booked the conference room for a family get-together (approximately 22 people) only to be informed upon arrival that the hotel had double booked the conference room and that our group would have to move our event to the pool area. I was concerned it would be humid and not exactly and environment for a dinner and socializing, but it ended up being alright. There were signs on the doors that said there was a private event in the space from 5:30-10:30 p.m. However, a couple of hours into our event, the front desk employee came in and apologized, but a mother had booked a birthday party for her 9 year old daughter and asked if we would be ok if they came in to swim while we were having our event. Obviously, we weren't going to ruin a 9 year old girl's birthday. The poor mother was distraught over the situation thinking that her daughter's party had been ruined. The girls were fine and they had fun, but the hotel management continued to allow people into the pool area and it became a free-for-all. When our group went to ask management to ask the people not with the birthday party to leave, they allowed them to stay until 10:30...essentially meaning that our event had ZERO privacy for the duration. Just a full failure of the systems and the management of the hotel to allow this to happen. The rooms were alright...comfortable beds and plenty of space, however, the batteries in the remotes were dead (thankfully, since we were celebrating our family Christmas, we brought along spare batteries), there was a large crack in the door that allowed light and sound in, and the room smelled of cigarette smoke (even though it was a nonsmoking room). The hallway smelled of marijuana and it seemed like the security of the building was pretty lax, with multiple people entering and exiting from a side door near the laundry area. To top it all off...at least one of our family members came home to red bumps all over her body...most likely bed bugs. Another family member found mouse droppings in their room. Thankfully, we didn't have any issues like that in our room, but just overall, not the experience we were hoping for and our family will look to take our gathering elsewhere in the future."

"Do not book an event with this hotel. We booked the conference room for our family Christmas, only to be told they had double booked. They put our group in the pool area, told us it would be private, yet managers continued to ask us to make exceptions and let other guests in the area. At no time did we have a private area. Hotel is outdated. Mouse droppings under the mattress. Horrible experience."

"Such a mixed bag experience. We booked rooms and reserved the conference room for our family Christmas months ago only to be told two days before that the staff had double-booked the room and we were being moved to the pool atrium. We were told that signs would be posted and we would be the only guests in the pool atrium. The cleaning staff was excellent and helped get the atrium cleaned and ready. 5 stars for the cleaning crews. However, a few minutes in to our Christmas party, the nice lady from the front desk told us that staff had also double-booked the atrium with a small birthday party - 4 young girls. The child’s mother had also booked the party in October only to be informed upon arrival that it was no longer available. The hotel person asked if there was any way possible if we would share and of course we did. The child’s mother was completely distraught. The desk manager said we would be comped but that hasn’t happened yet. What a mess! Prior to the conference room drama, we called to insure that they had the correct number of rooms still reserved, only to find that we were shy 2 rooms but that was quickly resolved. When I requested email confirmation, reservations told me they couldn’t do that because we were listed as “walk-ins”. So in summary, great cleaning crew but what a disorganized mess of a reservation, management and check-in team. The rooms were dated but inexpensive. We won’t be back."

"Went to check out their conference room for a birthday party and was met at the front desk by the General Manager. He showed us the room and made us feel welcome and confident that this would be the best place for our party. He was very accommodating and super kind ! We booked immediately! The room looked nice and was spacious !"
