"Pete is great; super knowledgable and very friendly in sharing what his store has to offer. As someone who regularly hunts for items, I will definitely make Liquor Zone a regular stop for me. They have a phenomenal collection and great prices. 1/26/24 Update: Stopped in today to see what Pete had acquired since my last visit; he had a new expression of his store pick WhistlePig 10 Year and a store pick Heaven's Door. Both are great scores! To quote my wife, "Pete must have really good taste because his store picks are awesome." I was also able to find a few other bourbons I have been searching for. Liquor Zone is a must visit!"

"This is one of my new favorite stores! Stopped in yesterday for the first time, and immediately felt welcomed. Pete and I talked bourbon for a good 20-30 minutes while I shopped. His selection is outstanding, and his pricing is very fair (sometimes even better than the big stores). I was on a bourbon hunt across Pearland and this place was 30+ minutes away from where I live... and i will happily do the drive over and over again in the future. Thanks Pete!"

"I’ve really gotten into bourbon the last few months so I’ve been going to non big box liquor stores looking at their selection and prices. I stopped in here yesterday while running errands and I was impressed. There is a great selection and really good prices, which is a combination I haven’t seen much of. I’m not sure if it was the owner but the guy that helped me was really nice and even checked the back for a bottle I asked about. I was just going to check out the store and ended up buying a bottle and almost got 2. I will definitely go back."

"Liquor Zone, like its sister store Liquor Pot are really my go to places for Pearland liquor purchases. Why would I go to Total Wine or Specs when Pete and his crew usually have the same item for the same price or even cheaper? Do yourself and your town a favor and support the local businesses and choose Liquor Zone or Liquor Pot over the huge franchise stores. I stopped by this morning and was shown a new Whistle Pig 10year single barrel store pick and offered a sample. The price was about 100 bucks which is really a steal for a WPSB, the small batch version is going for 80-90 dollars at some other stores. I also just happened to find an Elijah Craig A122 on the shelf for about MSRP. Pete also had some Russel single barrel picks. If you are a bourbon fan then these stores should be some of your weekly stops. Thanks for the hospitality Pete I will be visiting your stores frequently. -Matt"
