"Unfortunately the administration staff is very unreliable for scheduling and very un organized . They have gotten comfortable with being unavailable and having patients to remember to call back for availability a month from now. Which is very unprofessional I’ve never seen any clinic put their responsibilities on to the patients. It’s been stagnant since Covid , at first they blamed Covid now they just stay at telling us to call back . They just have grown to very bad habits and stayed there . Unfortunately the ratings used to be 4.0 or higher now it’s been just lowering . I’m not sure what happened but I think a big root problem is self awareness in improvement or lack of leadership and growth."
"This place is ridiculous! First I called Friday for a refill of my son's inhaler. He has had asthma since 15 months old he is now 7. My entire house came down with the flu and my son was having trouble breathing. I was told it would take 24 hours for them to call it in. He went all weekend without it. We used other methods to keep his air way open thinking he would have it by Monday. No call Monday no script called in. I called and was on hold for 1hr and 15 min before someone picked up. I was then told yes a nurse will call you. Nurse calls me and says he needs an appointment to get his inhaler. They don't have anything until wed. They told me because he has not been seen in a year the doctor is refusing to refill it. Back story the denied my son his appointment last year because I have no one to watch my other children and that I can't bring them in with my son and I. I explained at the time I have no family no friends in this state and I have to bring all my kids with me, I was told on the phone that would be fine then when I arrived my son was denied entry for his appointment. They then told me that his doctor refused the refill when it was a doctor that he has never seen before because that was the doctor on call. The nurse then told me that my son's doctor would state the exact same thing that he would need an appointment. I called urgent care and the er and the wait times are 6-8 hours. I told the nurse again I would have to bring all my kids and she said that she will make sure my son is not denied entry, yup I heard that last time and no longer trust their word. I'm looking else where to bring my kids. Long phone wait can't even get them in half the time for a visit and refuse to fill medication they have been on almost their entire life."
"I just got off a really amazing phone call with Rosa. She was absolutely amazing!!! Such great customer service, super friendly, genuine, and so very helpful. I was stressing to find a pediatrician for my youngest 3 kiddos after my pediatrician of 20 years retired. I'm a single mom and my kids are on medicaid currently. I was shocked that I was struggling to find a pediatrician that would accept this insurance. I had been on the phone trying to find someone since 830 am and finally cross paths with Rosa, who absolutely saved the day. Thank you for all you do. You have truly helped this single mom have one less thing to worry about."
"Let me first start by saying I loved my daughter’s pediatrician, she was always very kind and understanding. However, I’ve had instances where they’ve ran tests on my daughter and the tests came back saying one thing while the blood work showed everything was normal. As a nurse, I understood that further testing was necessary due to abnormal initial testing. When she was first born, she developed jaundice and we were told she would have to most likely receive light therapy to treat it. Well the blood work did show jaundice, but not to the extent of having to be treated with light therapy. Like I said, I loved the pediatrician so I wanted my daughter to continue to see her. I tried to book an appointment (regular check up) and they told me she could not be seen until September. Why am I having to do the scheduling of appointments anyway? They used to schedule her next appointment the same day, while we were at the office being seen. I was told to call back in case of a cancellation or find another pediatrician. Are you kidding? Not acceptable, I’m done with this clinic."
"We are new patients here but we are completely satisfied after our first visit. Rosa up front was really awesome. I appreciated her patience with me. We were also seen very quickly for a follow up from a previous appointment. I think our whole appointment was less than 30 minutes, waiting and all. I am so happy. I absolutely loved Dr. Ateek! She listened to my concerns, and explained my sons diagnosis in detail in a way no previous doctor had. It was extremely clear what the problem was, as well as how to take care of it. I would absolutely recommend this office!!"
