"This pizzeria was highly recommended by a friend. Therefore the expectation was high. Well, it failed. The service was slow and the restaurant was only a third full. The pizza was good, not outstanding, but good. "Nothing to right home about". Not worth the price. No kids menu! So I ordered a bowl of Italian meatballs and they were overcooked and dry. My child didn't eat them. For my family of three it cost me $41. I stick to my local Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was really authentic and cool. The wine bottle chandeliers, metal squares ceiling tiles and large glass window to see the chef's toss the pizza dough and cook in a brick oven. Would I return? No because of the price and service."
"Very delicious- from the salad appetizer to the pizza, drinks, and dessert! The fresh mozzarella is totally worth the extra $2-4 to add to the salad! I got a traditional pepperoni pizza for my husband and I. The 16 inch was perfect for sharing. The crust is fantastic! As is the fresh sauce!! I got traditional cheesecake for dessert and my husband got the Reese’s cheesecake. Both were delicious! Maddox was a great server and very helpful!"
"So disappointing. As a native New Yorker - newly relocated to Texas (woohoo!) - I had every hope of finding a pleasant reminder in a simple Margarita pizza. The atmosphere seemed right - a little cheesy, but enjoyable. We started right in ordering a cáptese salad and a Margarita pizza. We were hungry and excited! The soda and salad came out reasonably. And then the wait began. Our waitress Starr was more interested in flirting with her co-worker and left us alone. ONE HOUR later a very overcooked pizza was brought to the table. My wife and I exchanged glances but were so hungry we accepted the first slice and began to eat. It was the worst Margarita pizza I have ever eaten! So burnt the basil was black and the cheese dark brown. We ate some to appease our hunger and waited to get the waitresses attention to get our check and leave. Another 20 minutes later we finally got a box and a bill and I asked to speak with the manager. I will never return to this place. Grimaldi’s should be deeply ashamed."
"We visited Grimaldi’s Pizzeria for early dinner on a Friday evening, there was only one other table in the dining room, but the food took so long to arrive, like over 40 minutes. Apparently they were busy with outside orders, if we have had known this we would have gotten some salads first. Service was amazing, the staff were very friendly, pizza was very delicious but burned bottom, we were starving and we had to catch a movie, so we decided just to eat it. Overall, I would recommend this place."
