"I have been going to this place for awhile now. Today I went into the store and the lady was in the back receiving an order, which was fine with me and my aunt. She acknowledged us and said give her a second. So of course we start looking around because we already had the bottle we needed at the counter. She gets done with the order and comes to the front. She looks us up and down like we put something in our pockets and say can I see your IDs. I have no problem showing my id but it was the way she looked at us. I show her mine and my aunt shows her id on an app. She is from Louisiana so they use an app with their id on it. She says she can’t take it and it’s Texas law. This is fine so we say okay and proceed to go Gave home to get her id. We come back and she laughed and says “oh I put it back because I thought y’all wasn’t coming back”. Someone was in front of us and she proceeds to check him out being very nice. She gets to us next and I ask her why didn’t she ask for his id and she said because he is a regular. I said well I’m a regular as well and she said well I don’t recognize your face. If we are going by Texas law then you have to ask everyone for their ID even if they are regulars. I then ask can she put my number in and she makes the comment and say “is it for a discount”. I said well is that not the only reason people put their numbers in. I asked for her name and she said Ashley. I felt like because we were black she wanted to give us a hard time both times coming in. I have never felt like this with any other employee. She was very rude and made us feel like she didn’t want us in there. I will not be coming back to this location. I love to spend my money at local places instead of big places like specs but I will be going to specs"

"First and last time there. Ladies need customer service skills. They were talking about another customer to several other customers in the store. Ladies, you should be marketing the liquor, not talking about others."

"Customer service at this place is TRASH! Or maybe this worker just didn’t want to speak to me. He looked me dead in my face several times and said nothing. Almost like he was going out of his way NOT to speak to me. Not a simple hello. Didn’t ask if I needed help. Nothing! I understand that he was moving cases of water to the back, but it took more energy for him to walk to the front register to take my money than it would have taken to speak. The only reason I tried this place is because of its convenient location (3 minutes from my house). But looks like I’ll continue to give my money to Spec’s. Atleast I know I’ll get a hello."
