Bright Horizons at Sundance Square

"I went for a tour today with my 2 year old, and was shocked by how we were treated. The main point of contact was someone who has been in this industry for over 20years, and is so obviously burnt out and hates her job. That’s the welcome committee! Then we proceeded to be shown the facility which is adequate at best. The staff made us feel very unwelcome, she shamed my daughter for where she is in her speech journey, and laughed in my face when I asked about their camera and security systems. As a parent- I do not take the safety of my child lightly and the whole experience felt as though we were being pushed out the door because this woman disapproved of where my daughter was scholastically. They were more interested in our previous child care experience to make sure that we as the clients- would be a good fit for her in her facility. This was very concerning. I tried to get in contact with the Head Director; Michelle Spikes, before leaving this review- and was ignored the both times I tried to call to provide this feedback. I am glad we toured- so that now my family can confidently cross off Bright Horizons from our list of care options for our daughter. My advice- do the research, and go see for yourself. Do not recommend at all."

They really care about the kids, and make sure that the parents stay informed. I feel good about sending my children to Montessori each day, which is really the best feeling as a parent."

I can say the staff and administration have been excellent communicating and keeping the children healthy/safe during Covid. The daily check ins and keeping families updated on the policies have been very effective. I love the staff and administration dearly and definitely recommend the school to families!"

"As a previous employee, a certified Texas teacher, I would not recommend Bright Horizons at Sundance Square to any family with young children. The immediate leadership "team" is unorganized, very unprofessional and driven by profit margins versus child centered goals and care. The more families, the more revenue, the happier management. After spending almost a year in most of the different classrooms, the care the children receive is borderline unacceptable and lacking in basic needs.. Do not believe that what you see is what you get. I urge you, as a parent, to pass on this establishment."
