"My twins absolutely love it here, and so do I. Pauline the director is amazing and loves our kids, and the teachers... Let me get started on them... THE BEST!!! They have been nothing but excellent. My kids are learning and the teachers will go above and beyond for their kids. You can not only see it, but feel it when you look through the little window in the door of their classroom. I'm not someone who typically does reviews, but they deserve it. I can't thank them enough for what they do. From the bottom of my heart, thank you la petite!"
"My son has attending LaPetite since 2 years old. Yes they changed directors but Mrs Paulene is great she direct and follows policy and procedures. My son really enjoys coming to LaPetite Mrs Lula and Mrs Keyanna treats him like he was one of their own. My son is non verbal and they are very patient with him. Mrs Lula has taught my son how to write how to sit down in a classroom. She did a great job preparing him for kindergarten. We appreciate the LaPetite family"
"Went in today for an apt to tour the place and the lady that opened the door had an attitude from the start. Not even sure what her name was since she didn’t introduce herself. She asked what I needed and I told her I had an apt. She asked for an ID, which I didn’t have because I didn’t know I needed it and she stated “it’s a daycare, you need an ID”. This was my first daycare ever going to and she proceeded to ask if I wanted to go get it. With that kind of Introduction and attitude why would I want to leave my kid there. Update: Her name is Pauline and I believe she stated she was the director when I got a call back (she wasn’t the original person calling, wanting to know about my experience). She stated a safety inspector or something was there and she couldn’t take me without an ID. I let her know whoever it was that I spoke to, which was her, has a bad attitude when I walked in and I wouldn’t want to leave my child at a facility with staff like that and she said ok I was just calling you back and hung up."
"My daughter has been attending this facility for about 2 years now. Was uneasy about it since i'm so hands on with my children. However it has been a great place it has camera access and myself and dad is able to watch her through out the day my sister watches my daughter from another state all day so we see a lot. Everyone is super nice. They recently changed directors which I was unsure until I met the new director and gave her chance. Right before the former director left there was an issue that I asked her to address with a new teacher and it was never address and I had to go to the new director with her barley starting. There has been a few teachers to leave and that's understandable with any company when management changes. There has been some bumps and bruises between the changes, however this day care has a great team now, the director is very helpful and attentive along with Ms. Lula and Ms. Kris has been super great as well along with a few others. My daughter will soon be moving to the three's class. I wish more people would stop righting reviews when there upset. seems like that's the only time people right reviews these days."
"UPDATE: NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. NOT SAFE!. This is long, sorry. This used to be the only place I would take my kids. My older son absolutely loved his teachers, and I could tell they loved him too; I never worried about him. A couple of month ago the director changed and within 2 weeks several of the long time teachers suddenly quit. She is so rude to teachers and parents. These were teachers who had been here for YEARS, one of them over 10 years I think. Suddenly they were under staffed and some of the rooms were closed. I noticed them pushing/violating ratios, rooms were messy etc. Some of the long time teachers are still there, but not in my 2 year old's room and I started worrying about him during the day. The other day I went a bit early to pick up my son and when I went in the room, they couldn't find him, didn't know where he was. I found him and two other 2ish year olds in the bath room playing in the toilet. They had been there for a while as they had moved several toys in there. My son had a split/bleeding lip no one could explain, presumably from slipping and falling into the toilet! The director looked surprised but didn't apologize, when I mentioned my son's teacher was sweet and hard working, but they hadn't trained her enough she proceeded to argue with me about her training hours! I spoke to her boss, who was very apologetic and seemed horrified, but I asked her to look at the cameras to see how long the kids were in the bathroom unsupervised, and apparently it's company policy to only keep only 48 hours worth of video, so if something happens on a Friday afternoon, (like here) your out of luck by the the time they look into it Monday morning. So unless they've changed directors.... RUN. ***Just found out yesterday from another parent, who also withdrew their kid, that a teacher in my son's room had the cops called on her at the school and was charged with abuse and neglect for actions at the school. She has been fired, but I was told NOTHING about this and she had daily access to my child. Also the cameras conveniently "weren't working" on my app while she worked there! ***In response to the company's reply. Of course I reached out to corporate. I'm waiting to see how/if they respond"
