"I can't say enough good things about Grain Design and Alex. We moved into a house with very old original wood floors. There was a fair amount of settling in the house, and some shoddy repairs that were done before we got here. Alex and his crew did such an amazing job on the repairs, that you can't even tell the difference between the original sections and the ones that were repaired. When it came to the color, Alex was very attentive in what we were looking for and presented us with several options and he fully outlined the pluses and minuses of each brand/color/ect. What we got was exactly what we wanted. Even the sheen was perfect, as we didn't like the super shiny finish, we wanted more of a matte finish. In addition we had exposed an old fireplace that needed a hearth built in front. Alex had some ideas and we just kind of let him run with it. Impressed is an understatement with what he came up with. You can see it in the pictures, he came up with a really great design that added so much to that fireplace. Alex is very passionate about his work, and you can tell its something he puts everything into. This is what makes the work so great from Grain Design. Everybody there has been amazing to work with. I don't feel like the pictures truly do the work justice, but I wanted to try to show it as best as possible."
