"Nice store but didn't have what I was looking for in women's apparel"
"The JC Penny's is clean, and the staff are lovely. The portion of the mall that is closed to the public is eerie, though. Music still plays, and some lights are still on. I do not care for the eerie statue that's near the gates, though. It creeps me out."
"My experiences with j c penny have been almost entirely negative in recent years. Ever so often I remember the penny’s of old and stop by to shop for something. I leave later thinking “why was I foolish enough to try this again?”"
"Lots of things to choose from. Some high prices, some low prices. Depends what you’re looking for. They don’t have a lot of help. Only had one cash register open on the second floor when I was there. Ended up not buying anything. Not ready to buy winter clothes yet. But it’s a nice store."
"This place is pretty expensive for what it is. Two pairs of socks for $10 is pricey in my opinion. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I understand that it had an odor. It's a bathroom. But the seats were covered it poop, there was trash overflowing, what looked like to be poop smeared on the wall above the trash can, and boxes of something just sitting in the hallway. In the exterior hallway the wall was torn up and looked to have been like that for a while. This store also has insane lines and not very nice people working the very limited check out counters. There used to be a counter in every section. Now there are only four in the whole store two downstairs and two upstairs. At christmas time, that makes the lines insanely long. I was in line for over 10 minutes just trying to return something, and there were four people working the counter. They need help in all departments it seems"
