"$18 for 3 32oz and 1 24oz sodas that were 85% ice. After two sips, the soda was already below the ice level. Total rip off. Soda Shack’s prices and quantity of ice is so much better. Spend your money there."

"Ok, I normally don’t run to google reviews, but The 509 Drink Stop earn my vote today. This was my second visit, the first being incredible experience. The drinks are incredibly made, customer service was 1000%, super friendly, and overall just a great stop. It’s so hard to find places with friendly people working. Today when I stopped, the owner was there and while they made my order, he offered me two samples (Key Lime, Cucumber Lemonade) and then asked my favorite tea. I told him one of my usual favorites I can’t seem to find here in Lubbock and he whipped the perfect Strawberry Coconut Cream 1/2, 1/2 tea up for me. Super friendly, great service, and quality drinks!! They’ve made a new regular customer out of me. Definitely recommend."

"I’m newer to the area and these types of drink shops in general and wanted to give 509 a try. Drove in from the front of the building and didn’t realize there was a drive thru window so I went in. At first I wasn’t sure if they were open as I didn’t see anyone inside or tables. I walked in and was greeting pretty quickly and placed an order for “The Matador” (Dr.Pepper, espresso, and cream) the staff member was polite and made it pretty quickly. Overall the drink was good, but I won’t order it again. They had to many other options to try. I’ll give them another try and suggest you try this new shop. Just don’t plan on meeting friends or staying there with your beverage as there is no seating."
