"Disappointed; many 'native' plants mislabeled (not straight species but cultivars). Worse, they sell nandina which should not be sold anywhere and has been banned in parts of the USA. Many of the plants, not all, were not well cared for. There is, however, an adorable cat on the premises who is worth a trip. Thinking it is probably best for some of the shrubs/trees which looked, overall, okay and for the landscaping material."
"Very helpful staff, reasonable prices, easy in and out of property. Today I needed compost in bags, not bulk. Plenty of choices in bags, thank you for posting the product descriptions by the register. They load your vehicle for you!"
"Well, Randy Lemmon raves about the top dressing from NWR. I listened to all the positive benefits of their products and how much their product would improve my yard. After a lot of wondering if the product would work, I decided to go for it. I ordered the top dressing, plus delivery for my oversized residential lot at a cost of $1,100.00. Starting with an aerated yard, I used a small tractor to disperse and then hand rake out the mounds of top dressing, which took about 10 hours. After four months, I was left with a yard worse than when I started. The brown rich looking top dressing has been depleted and what remains is sand, an abundance of small rocks, a few pieces of copper wire, glass fragments and no improvement on my lawn. I understand there will be some trash in all products, but the amount of rocks in the 8 yards of mix is unacceptable. I will continue to water and see what happens over the next few months. I don't recommend NWR top dressing and probably would not do this again."
"Wish I could leave 10 stars. Got 2 yards of compost (for about half the price it would have cost at lowes in bags) and a few plants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Also met the owner who was also very friendly and helpful. They actually care about getting you what is best for what your doing instead of just selling stuff. The folks running the loaders are also on point. It was about an hour drive for us and we will definitely be going back."
