"I've done business with 84 lumber sporadically for 30 years. The "go to" place for specialty lumber, right!? The Conroe location has only earned my business once. The sales agent had to check a supplier for availability, so he called back and told me they found enough stock for my project. Thanks B! Every other time sales staff took my info and left me hanging out to dry. The floor and yard staff are not-zees. This place needs customer service training. Maybe an entirely new staff."

"When you call to speak to a specific person and they are busy (which I understand) and they tell you to leave a name and number and they will call you back shortly. Don’t believe them, unless shortly means that you call them back and leave additional messages over the next several days, until you finally call and the person you are trying to contact answers. Unusual definition of shortly. Customer service is poor at best."
"I have never experienced such awful customer service.We came in around 4 o’clock today due to Covid we couldn’t come inside the show room which we didn’t mind, but of course had more questions about the lumber because we were unable to see what they had and the man working there was so rude.He told my father in law he was being to difficult because he was asking to many questions. We are in the process of building 2 homes and it’s unfortunate the man was to inconsiderate to help us. We will be taking our business elsewhere and we will never recommend using this place."
