"Our daughter Emerson attended Three R's about 15 years ago. She is now enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated near the top of her high school class. The organizational and social skills they teach here are invaluable. They will teach your child to be attentive to detail and to do their best. The environment is like home and the teachers are first rate. The Montessori curriculum is superior to anything offered in the area."
"8 years! That's how long we have had one of our daughters enrolled in Three R's Plus Montessori. The girls started school & came home with smiles like these. Happy, healthy & safe!! They each learned the value of independence, respect and being kind because it was expected of them. It is a small school with a big heart & huge dedication to families thriving in learning outside of the home and being a part of the community. We will miss you, Three R's! we will always be thankful for the space of love & learning you created for our girls and their friends! Thank you!"
"I typically do not like to give negative reviews and actually prefer to give positive ones but after seeing these 5 Star ratings on here (granted most of them were given 3+ years ago) I need to make sure our story is heard by all parents out there considering getting on their waitlist. I have been an absolute wreck this past week and trying to figure out alternative childcare for our 15-month-old daughter. As a first-time mother, coming to the realization of the typical time spent on a wait list (in the Heights area) for childcare is 12+ months was frightening and stressful. Without question, every parent wants what is best for their child. After touring over a dozen daycares, we decided to get on 4 waitlists (still waiting on two) with one of them being the Montessori’s – since 2018. Late 2019, we found out they had an opening for us (so we took her out of her current program, not due to the quality but the commute). 3Rs cashed our deposit check and took her first month’s payment to hold our daughters spot. After numerous email exchanges (all of which were super positive) and getting so excited to enroll our daughter into this program we started planning with a teacher there for “OPTIONAL” in home prep courses. Again, OPTIONAL. We were given a list of 4 dates from which 3 were selected and agreed to by all parties. Their teacher requested multiple appointment changes. Not once, not twice, THREE times. After being unable to come to mutually agreeable appt times, we inquired if we could simply skip the “OPTIONAL” classes. After our email to decline the OPTIONAL classes… we subsequently got an email saying, how they would no longer ENROLL our daughter. What was this based on? An email where their unorganized employee was NOT held accountable for continuously failing to follow through with a confirmed schedule? As parents we have careers and obligations as well, yet we never requested any changes. Not only are we left without childcare for our 15mo old daughter, we now have to start all over from square one, getting on another wait list that could take well over a year. Or we could commute long distances taking time away from our FAMILY. The Director of 3R’s told us her decision was based off a decision from an event that happened in the past with another family. WHAT???? How is that fair or pertain to my family? We left our previous daycare under great terms and I happily prove that should anyone care to inquire. I want to make sure that anyone reading this understands I make no claim about the care 3R’s provides to their students. This review is only about the decisions made by 3R’s Director, and how they negatively impacted my family. If anyone would like to see the email exchanges, I would be happy to share privately. Just reach out. I don’t want any other families to have to endure what we are going through."
