"Edited to add the following : Timbergirl responded to this in an attempt to show they have decent customer service, don't be fooled. When I contacted them I was told there was nothing they could do to help because the table was over 30 days old. So you decide if this is the kind of customer service you want.............. We have a dining table from Timbergirl. We have owned it way less than a year. A few nights ago I hears a loud popping noise that I couldn't identify with a quick look around. However, the next day I noticed a split in my table top that crossed over 80% of the surface right down the middle. Upon close examination we discovered a board had warped and caused the joint along the edge of that plank to split. The top now has the crack and on the warped plank side it is raised about 1/8". This means things don't sit level, there are rough edges that catch things, and the entire table is ruined. When I spoke with the retailer where we purchased it they said there was nothing they could do and recommended we reach out to Timbergirl directly, which I did. They asked for pictures which I provided along with a video which made it easy to see that the surface is no longer smooth. Their only suggestion was that we use putty to fill the crack and simply apply a wood wax to the table. When I expressed my concerns that their recommendation would not fix a warped board and asked for reconsideration they told me there was nothing they could do because the table is over 30 days old. While I loved the look of the table it is now useless to us and I have a table I paid $800 for that is a piece of trash! I'll never purchase another of their products, and I would caution everyone to take a good look at their return policy. It states that they will only accept returns within 30 days and only with prior authorization. If you want something that will last more than a few months I'd strongly recommend you continue looking elsewhere."
