La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham El Paso West Bartlett

"I've stayed here a couple of times in the past and I like this location. BUT... It's being renovated, I get that it's going to look not up to snuff, but the hallway walls are stripped to the drywall, all the room numbers are on the ground, and the internet was down. My room was clean and here comes the but, the carpet was ripped near the door, the bathroom was shabby, coffee maker was torn up, and the curtain looked like it had been ripped down and haphazardly put back up (I stood on the desk chair to put it up to cover the window.) Hopefully this location will pick back up after the renovations. With the shear amount of hotels in El Paso, I won't be staying there again."

"I stayed at the property on many different occasions for various reasons. The staff here is amazing. I was having an emergency and they are more than willing to help. It's in a convenient location, near food and grocery. Location to easy to find. My room was very comfortable, has all amenities, clean towels, comfortable bathroom. Despite some thing being under repair I was happy since the staff was able to adjust to any of my need or concerns. I was not bother by anyone. I was having safety issues with other hotels in the area but this one was on top of any concerns quickly"

"The rooms are OK, better than previous stays. Cleanliness was average, front desk service average. Upside is that it was not crowded, and I felt more comfortable leaving the vehicle on site. The downside is that it did not have a refrigerator or microwave in the room; & No BREAKFAST as advertised on the website."

"DO NOT STAY HERE!! Chose a queen sized bed when I selected my room, but was told all they had was a full size and that I chose the full size bed at check in. I asked about upgrading, but was told they were fully booked. I’m 6’3”; it was myself and my husband staying here. The property is run down, the rooms are old and rundown, the carpet had stains all over it, and staples in the carpet by the front of the room by the door to hold the carpet in place. The smoke detector had been removed. I asked the front desk about it and he said he’d have the maintenance guy fix it, “but he just walked out to leave”. The young man at the front desk told me that “sometimes people will remove them because they smoke in the rooms.” The room smelled funny and had cheap air fresheners in the air vents. There was no blanket on the bed or in the room, and the towels were old and falling apart. I had to ask for a blanket and extra towels. The paper cups had trash in them. I’m not sure how they can call this a 3 star hotel. The only reason I stayed here because it had the name la Quinta and they usually are pretty good hotels. The young man at the front desk was nice, was the only good thing about this place."

"Do not stay here. Pics online make it look nice but that's about it. The only good thing is we were able to check in 30 minutes early. Asked for a courtesy bathroom when we arrived ..it's broken. Checked into the room. It stinks like old carpet, old paint, literally like a house from the 1950's smell that was never aired out. Carpets stained, bed lumpy, stained sheets, no mini fridge as stated in the itinerary. Then to top it off...all ice machines were broken. Save your money and spend it somewhere else that isn't a catfish. Pretty sad because La Quinta used to be one of the better places you could stay at while traveling."
