Baymont by Wyndham Lubbock - Downtown Civic Center 601 Avenue Q, Lubbock, TX 79401

"When we walked into the room you get a strong smell of bug spray, mold, and pet smell. We didn't have any blankets on the beds, no towels at all, no hot water, toilet wouldn't really flush, black mold spot on the ceiling right above one of the beds. The tub had lots of hair in it as well as on the wall. We had to run to the store to get cleaner, bleach, shower shoes,and air freshener now this was before we knew there was no hot water. We still needed to bathe anyway. This room cost us 62.00 not worth that at all!!! Avoid at all cost, while the front desk person was great this place is so not worth what we paid. We checked it about 930pm and it was in this condition...don't waste your money here, and you kno they won't reimburse you either, just sad..."

"If I could give this rating a 0 I would!!! It’s by far the most uncomfortable place I’ve stayed before! Had to switch rooms due to bad smell in room. The walls has stains which looked like blood and the sheets and pillow cases has them also! One getting to the room there was no hot water microwave didn’t work and the lamp wires were bare! We ended up leaving and staying elsewhere so when I asked for my money back they were rude and didn’t want to give me one!"

"Absolutely awful place. My door lock was broken, it was absolutely filthy, and it was a sketch place all around. The definition of a crack motel. The pictures look nothing like it was advertised. If I could give 0 stars, I would. When I tried to get a refund, management sent staff to kick me out of my room, and two days later, acted as if they had no idea what happened. Stay away! Trash management, trash hotel, and horrible customer service. Stay away unless you like crack hotels."

"Totally the most disgusting place ever! No hot water, bugs crawling everywhere! No trash can, the wifi never worked and the bed and chair had holes and cigarette burns. Had to sleep with the bed cover over my head for the barely five hours I got of sleep on and off. The heater never worked. It was freezing in the room. Stay away from this place. It's a roach motel. It deserves 0 stars."

"Worst hotel in the world. Every room smells like mold, smoke, or urine. We went through 3 rooms. 173,210,217. 173 had a door handle that was barely hanging on and a poor shower. You can see the water damage above the bed. 210 had no curtain with no rod to hang it. 217 had half the lights working, you have to fight the shower if you want a temperature other than ice cold. The hotel does not represent the pictures online. Drugs, escorts and other riff raff just hang out. My recommendation is too not stay here. Ever. The owners don’t care. We didn’t even have a comforter. When we requested one, we got a small throw. Lubbock is the worst and we found the worst of the worst. Pay the extra money, stay at the double tree. It’s not worth the stench that stains your bags or your animals."
