Torchy's Tacos 2407 9th Street, Lubbock, TX 79401

"I ordered some catering on a relatively short notice (ordered on Tuesday to pick up on Thursday). I wanted to pick up the order at 11:30am yesterday, but the website would only let me set the pick up time for noon. I reached out to the location via phone, and the manager was very accommodating and kept my information written down so he'd know to have my order ready early. I got to Torchy's around 11:20 on Thursday, and the order was already ready! The manager even carried the order to my vehicle, which I can greatly appreciate being heavily pregnant. Not long after, I needed to put in additional orders for vegetarian options (to no fault of Torchy's, I just didn't know we had vegetarians). They were very quick to get the orders made and I was back at the office in no time! The staff was very caring and made sure everything went perfectly. I'll make sure to order more in the future, though; the food was so delicious it went super quickly!"

"So my food tasted awful, but since I actually consumed the entire taco in a fit mentally disturbed hunger, I figured I'd provide insight. When my food arrived, I noticed my corn tortilla was curling and I had slight difficulty folding my taco. Which. Has never happened before. Upon the first bite of my fried avocado taco, there was a taste of chemical I couldn't quite name. After complaining to my partner "I think somethings wrong with my food", they offered a part of theirs to complete my meal. After not getting any of the taste from my first taco, I realized someone served me bad shells. It was my only meal yesterday. Don't do this. Be good business owners.. and pay your employees... and serve fresh food. Please."

"First time to this chain, and looking forward to the next. Unique combination of flavorful ingredients and variety of tacos selections with clever names mean there's something for everyone. I had the Trailer Park (chicken) and Crossroads (brisket). Both were very good, but the brisket was especially delicious. Also noticed the appealing breakfast menu, and hope to be able to try that sometime. Reasonably priced and good value for the money."

"While the food is top-notch, this is definitely not a place that I would go to if you’re wanting a quick meal. We waited for a good bit of time before receiving our food but when we did, let me tell you, the food made up for the time spent."
