Grandma's home daycare

"I loved this daycare... my daughter had been there for over a year and I never had any issues until she decided to close down the daycare giving a day notice and what is WORSE IS THE REASON BEHIND HER CLOSING DOWN. I received a text from her on Saturday 11/02 indicating daycare would be closing down as of 11/04. I spoke with her on the phone and she gave a sob story about how her rent was increasing and she was afraid of one of the teachers who tried to come at her. Later that day I received a call from another one of the daycare teachers telling me the REAL REASON WHY DAYCARE WAS CLOSING WAS DUE TO MISS YVONNE (daycare owner/director) SPANKING MY DAUGHTER AND ANOTHER CHILD AT THE DAYCARE. There is currently an open investigation. AFTER SPEAKING TO SEVERAL TEACHERS ITS BEEN SAID THAT OTHER KIDS HAD RECEIVED PHYSICAL ABUSE BUT NO ONE REPORTED IT BECAUSE THEY WERE THREATENED.... if that is true or not I am not aware but I DO KNOW THAT SHE SPANKED MY DAUGHTER!!!! And God forbid she opens another daycare as she is currently seeking a new location...."

"Absolutely love this daycare but most importantly my nephews love it. They went from screaming when we left to running in on their own and not wanting to leave at the end of the day. They love their teachers but they have a special love for Crystal who does an amazing job with them. Every time we pick them up they are happy and run out saying see you tomorrow which speaks greatly of the daycare."

"I had my daughter at this daycare. It's started to be an ok daycare. Till I came across problems and incidents with an employee there. The owner supposedly like to go by the book. She wants a bigger place to expand her daycare. My daughter's teacher told me this will be her last week there and it was days before the month ended. The owner was closing down the baby area. That her employees were tired and stressed out with the babies they had. I don't understand it's a daycare with all ages and the job comes with stress just like any job. They never had enough employees to take of children."
