El Paso Children’s Hospital- Emergency Room

"ER for childrens hospital is one of the worst hospitals I’ve been to! My son was here for appendix it took them more than four hours to put him inside. They could at least tell you that it’s going to take them for ever! My son was in so much pain I can’t believe they wouldn’t take it seriously!!"

"Never been here before but my daughters pediatrician told us to go here. My insurance wasnt going to cover entire cost, so i was ok with just paying the full amount but when i called to ask for pricing no one knew. At last they transferred me to the billing manager left message and till this day no idea on costs."

"best hospital ever they took very good care of me the food was great. The nurse I had told me I was going to be OK at this time I was having seizures. They made sure I had everything I needed. Warm blankets and pillows. Hot tea. Medicine. And food that I could keep down. They were a big help to me and my family. I highly recommend this hospital"

"I took my son in for dental work and an MRI. My 7 y/o had to be put under anestesia . He has down syndrome and is delayed, in speech. The whole Staff was amazing . increduble . I cant list the names of all the people that were kind and helpful to us . I would like to mention Dr. Wilson from smile center who was so patient with me and who told me about his own child and that he would care for my child just like he would his own. That he understood my position because hes been on both sides of this. Knowing he would be gentle with my baby , I trusted him. We then spoke 3 or 4 times throughout the day and I was no less comforted or impressed than before. Im so grateful! DR. Wilson is a rock star and a gentleman. The entire staff was awesome but the next thing is that in recovery , my son as lots of kids do , woke up combative. Two nurses (Myra and Hanna), stayed with me more than an hour singing songs with me to my son while getting punched , kicked , scratched, glasses ripped off and thrown . Im sorry ladies for that and you handled it so gracefully. I can never thank them enough , never ever ever. The last thing was that the nurse walked us out (it was either Hanna or Myra ) Im ashamed to say im not sure which was which , I called to get their names , I wasnt thinking while I was there and I met a ton of nurses and Dr. and techs .So this completely awesome young lady nurse walked us out and it was chilly outside , she couldve gone in and I shouldve offered her my jacket. unfortunately I didnt think of it til later but she was smiling and not phased. Im so grateful to her especially, I hope she is recognized by her superiors, and I hope her career reflects on how great she and they all were to me. I wish I were rich. I would change their lives. I will say , I wont doubt that hospital otr that staff. I will gladly take my boy there in the future. Thanks Randy Weaver"
