Sapphira Prive MedSpa, Laser Center & Laser Hair Removal

"DO NOT trust this company. On January 12, 2024, I went to this spa (Sapphire Prive) with a friend for a consultation to treat my facial spots and met with Amandee who suggested CO2 treatment for my skin condition. She when over the procedure, results, length of recovery and showed me before and after photos. She also mentioned that they were offering $100 of the treatment which cost $800. I asked her for military discount and told that it would be another 10% off for a total of $510 for the first and follow up treatments for a total of three treatments. The first treatment was done on the same day, it lasted about 5 min. Once the treatment was done and went to pay, she charged me $540 ($604 with taxes) instead of the $510 agreed on. I asked her why and she said she could not apply the 10% military discount because of the special, oh well. The following day I compare my face with the day one photo and did not see the same results or any improvement. I contacted Ms. Amandee and she told me not to go by the photo lineup (Day 1 thru Day 7) and to give it time. I took photos before and day one thru day seven that clearly shows no redness, no changes and no skin peeling. I sent her a photo each day after the treatment for sevens day and asked for feedback, she never followed up. Days later I talked to Ms. Amandee about the issue with the treatment, she told me that the reason it did not worked was because of my skin tone. Really? Is this treatment only works on white skin? If this is the case, she should have said so during the consultation. On January 25, 2024, I went back to Sapphire Prive for a scheduled appointment and was told that they were going to cancel the two follow-up appointments and issue a 60% discount. My response was that I will not agree to anything less than 90%. On January 31, 2024, I called to follow up on the refund and was told that the owner agreed to refund me $500, which I accepted. The check was supposed to be issue by February 8, 2024. I called back February 8th and was told that the check will be issued on February 13th. So, today, February 14th I called Sapphire Prive and talk to Amandee about the refund, and she informed me that they weren't going to issue a refund because they did not injure me. If they had injured me, I would be suing them and not asking for a refund. It seems to me that this company is providing medical (dermatology) advice without medical license. Clearly this company is a fraud and scamming people. Stay away!!"
