"The receptionist was super friendly and helpful when I called to make an appointment. They got me in for a gel manicure and knew I was pressed for time. I was visiting from out of state and the young woman doing my nails, Giselle, was super quick but also very detail oriented. She didn’t give me a sloppy manicure just because I was in a rush. She was extremely friendly & spent her time giving my nails the care they needed. I would highly recommend this salon and Giselle to anyone that needs nail services in San Antonio."

"Absolute butcher shop of a nail salon. Whoever took off my nails (I think her name was Giselle) took over an hour trying to remove my gel-X nails (very concerning for a shop that offers it!))), filed almost through my entire nail bed, damaged 5 others, clipped through the tip of my finger, and filed my cuticle so badly I was bleeding, and clearly didn’t know what she was doing. I depend on my hands for work and now they are so painful and sensitive. I left with 6 fingers not even “finished” and I have NEVER done that before and I’ve been getting my nails regularly done for nearly 20 years. My nails are so damaged I don’t know when I’m going to be able to get them done again and they were so incredibly beautiful when I went in. Photos included with what I left with and what I came in with. I am so angry. And to top it off my birthday is MONDAY. Edit- now they are trying to claim I had a product with MMA which is not true. Don’t come here. Another edit: all my kokoist products are still MMA free and I get them from the main building here in town and the girl who does my nails is… a part of their team. If you look at their ingredients online there’s no MMA. Lying about not doing a hack job isn’t going to make you look better. I also noticed when I made the report that you refused to give me the licensing numbers of the women who helped me. Still, don’t go here, I’ll never give y’all another chance Hire people who can actually work an electric file next time. I’m adding more photos for a close up after I was able to apply first aid to my hands in case you want to argue that the chunks taken out of my nail and finger where there was no product is anything but poor workmanship."

"To be completely honest the first couple of times I tried Prose I was not sure if I wanted to make it my permanent salon. However, I trusted the process and gave this unique boutique a chance and I’m glad I did. I have been coming back consistently and do not get my nails done anywhere else anymore. For starters, they use CND polish (and some others) which I’m obsessed with, the staff is friendly and the service is always good. I also get my natural nails taken care of and they have helped them grow so much! I hardly have to get a tip(s). Maybe every once in a while when I’m being reckless and the Prose team comes to my rescue, ensuring me and making the tip looks as natural as possible to match my real nails. I enjoy that every time when I walk into Prose, there is no hardcore chemical smell and I’m greeted with a warm hello. It is my oasis. I think what most people forget to think about is that service is indeed a two way street. I am always very communicative and specific about the work that is going to be taking place and 10 out of 10 Prose has never let me down."
